@HazeEastwood & FL_hopeful.. I felt exactly the opposite, I went into REG feeling EXTREMELY prepared and walked out crying.. it was terrible!! I felt like i only got 2 of the sims right and the others, well, I don't even think I understood what they were asking for.. MC were okay, but not easy by any means.. Anyone else feel this way about REG? I am hoping for a miracle but and pretty confident I failed 🙁

I hope it's not one of the Lean Cuisines that was recently recalled…

    Testing in TN (NASBA State)
    REG 74, 77; FAR 77; BEC 73, 73, 73, 80; AUD 40,78
    And I'm out...

Jeff, do you happen to have any info about New Jersey's AICPA statement regarding scores to be released this week?

    FAR 88 - BEC 86 - AUD 90 - REG 85

All you new mothers and pregnant women have my sympathy. My pregancies felt like a really bad 9 month hangover. Once they were born, I barely had time to shower, much less study. I'm so impressed by y'all!

@hazeeastwood – I'm sure you did fine… but i will tell you a little piece of advice that helped me the second time around for the MC… I literally printed all of them out from my review after I had did the review again, and mastered them. It was helpful because IMO there is only so many ways they can ask a question. But having gone through the MC over and over again I saw MC questions in similar formats and I was able to almost immediately look at the answers (quantitative at least) and kinda figure out which answer looked the best before I even did the calculations. I wish I had a strategy for the SIMS, but the only one I can think of is before your exam pray it is on something you know relatively well (i prayed not to see AMT, ACE and m-3's)

MomCPA, Hope it's not either. All I need is food poisoning to go with the ulcer and butterflies.

I checked – no “updates” have been handed down, so I'm inclined to peg reports to the contrary as false.

I'm back even after all the abuse…lol.

When answering the MC questions I hear that kid's song…”One of these things is not like the others, not like the others…”

Does this mean I'm having flashbacks?!

Hate the Process- For Reg I would definitely look out for the ancillary material in the middle of the becker book-check the AICPA breakdown, it is more heavy than becker gives attention to.

    FAR-92
    AUD-94
    REG-87
    BEC-(April)

For REG I would look over every little detail.. Don't want to break any rules.. but know all of it, if that is even possible..;o)

So this waiting is killing me…. (preaching to the choir I know).

I don't know what to study for. The only thing I have scheduled is FAR for July 1st, but I can't bring myself to start studying for it because I feel like I probably failed BEC or REG or both. But I'm not confident enough in my failure to restudy either of those until I know for sure.

Am I wasting time? Should I be studying something right now? I really didn't know I'd be taking such a break. I thought it would only be a few weeks max, not a month+.

Oh and if this site is serving a dual purpose as a dating site, it may be the only kind of dating I have time for.

    BEC- 73, 73, 80
    REG- 74, 83
FAR- 50(didn't study), 76 (<--How the heck did that happen?)
    AUD- 71, 71, 79!!!!!
    Finished!!

I'm beginning to think I may be in Dante's Divine Comedies and have landed in the 7th circle of hell somehow. I try hard to maintain good karma but I'm having a hard time not imagining evil things about the AICPA. I do have something to take my mind off my FAR score….I was given a FAR 31 (DOT) audit to try and get done in 2 weeks (LOMAOFF) when I've never done a FAR 31 audit, our firm has never done a FAR 31 audit and other than doing A-133 and Yellow book audits that's as close as I come.

@kristin1479 – I am thinking the same thing.. I took REG beginning of February and I feel like I probably failed but you always hear of people saying they felt like they failed and then ended up passing.. Hope that is the case for me!!! lol but I have not started studying either.. giving my self a break I guess b/c I know how distracted I would be waiting for the score release so my studying would probably not be very good. I am not sure what to do :o/ Maybe the scores will be released this week and we can start fresh on Monday!

@ NOLA- I hope they are. I hate feeling like I'm wasting time. But I am trying to get other things done that I never have time for. Like cleaning my house, cleaning out my car, watching movies with my kids, cooking meals that take longer than 15 mins to prepare, reading a book other than a CPA review book, watching bad television….. The best thing I started was exercising again. I think I've gained about 10lbs since I started studying in the fall. I hope I can keep up the exercise routine. I won't have time to shop for new clothes once I start studying again.

    BEC- 73, 73, 80
    REG- 74, 83
FAR- 50(didn't study), 76 (<--How the heck did that happen?)
    AUD- 71, 71, 79!!!!!
    Finished!!
