The point that we may be getting scores at the same time that we “could” have received them in the old Wave 1/Wave 2 system is valid and can stand on its own. However, it doesn't devalue the argument that it's an unfair position that a candidate is put in by circumstances outside of their own control. It's not right in either system. If you are promised an 18 month window, you should receive an 18 month window. Simple as that. If the scores are released so late that there are issues with candidates re-applying and getting exams scheduled in time to beat that window, there is a severe flaw in the process. I don't see how you can argue otherwise.

@rollwithit = AGREED! Also I don't see how it can be considered Standadized at this point because I would consider this delay somewhat of a disadvantage.

Unfortunately, unlike the other poster who had a dream about their score last night, I had a dream that I passed REG with an 84 and woke up to find that no scores were posted. RAWR

I'm hoping my dream becomes a reality.

@AAA, I acknowledged her one good point in my comment – that some are reacting a little immaturely. I'm not sure why those of us working our asses off to take this thing and then sitting here in a stressed, anxious, fragile state, waiting to hear if we can continue our lives or be forced back into study-hermit-mode keep getting blamed for things out of our control. The fact that we're being broken down by condescending articles like this is just salt in our wounds. That's why we're here – for support nobody else can give us. Note that comments in this forum which do not lift people's spirits have not been received well in the last 23 pages of this conversation.

Last year, I took three sections in the first month of a window and received three scores during the second month. I took one section in the second month and received my score in the third month (and not the last day of the month either). That's a one-month turnaround 100% of the time, which to me means I can pretty much rely on that system for my own planning purposes. Anyone proclaiming that receiving a score as late as March 31st and being able to somehow sit for an exam in early April is possible is pissing on our shoes and telling us it's raining.

@TEX – I have followed up on you post about the GoingConcern article. All is true!

Keep up the goodwork Jeff; people may hate b/c they didn't have your ideas for such a good site that helps candidates get throught this process. Even though sometimes I may spend too much time on the site, rather than studying….

Happy Birthday Jeff….Don't worry about the folks out there “throwing you under the bus” you have put yourself out there to help us and in all the time you've been predicting scores, who knew that this would turn into such a fiasco. We all hope that you are right on your predictions, but yes they are just that. We are all at the mercy of the AICPA and NASBA on this and as unfortunate as it may be – complaining will never get us anywhere. Remember how happy we were in mid December when the scores were rolling in just as you predicted? I certainly do – as I go two passing scores and was extremely happy. Am I happy now waiting – NO – but the alternative may be that I don't pass my last section – and I'm in the middle of busy season – don't need to be depressed over that so waiting will just allow me to put in my time here and not be so stressed out over not passing and having to figure out how to retake on the heels of a very busy tax/audit season.

Best case scenario is that I have passed – and I don't have time to celebrate anyway – all I want to do is call my 95 year old grandmother and tell her that she was right – I could do it!

Although we have known the score release was going to come in the month after the test window rather than in 2 waves, I think we all expected scores around mid-March and now that mid-March has come and gone and still no scores, we are pissed. The reason we didn't make a big deal out of it last year was because we were all too busy studying, taking exams, awaiting score results, and celebrating the holidays. Now that we all have much more time (to a certain extent at least) on our hands, we are able to communicate our discontent with the whole process and the unfairness of the 18 month rule. I think we would all feel better if they extended the 18 month rule to 24 months and if they would finally come clean about curving the dang scores. We all know they curve the scores so if they would just acknowledge that fact by issuing a statement then maybe we could all understand why it's taking them longer than usual. If they did NOT curve the scores then we would all have our scores by now because come on, besides BEC's W/C part, all other sections should be easily graded by a computer. For quality control purposes, grade them twice which will take one additional minute if that for each exam.

Anyway, I'm still laughing at the vids I posted earlier. hahahahaha

    Appreciate it everyone!

I didn't take Adrienne as throwing me under the bus. The NINJA updates have never been predictions. When I said March 17 way back on March 2 ~ one of the powers that be thought it would be March 17. On March 16, they told me it wasn't going to be tomorrow – look for end of the month .. simple as that.

In restrospect, sharing the 17th was a mistake when it was still 15 days away. I may have misinterpreted their wishful thinking as fact, and that was my mistake, and not theirs. The NINJAs have promised that they will redeem themselves.

I'm a big boy – I can take the criticism, which I deserved this time.

@jdiiorio I haven't been able to get a new NTS and won't until the scores come out if I fail

@eartzi I do understand her articles have an nnoying tone, but the tone does not invalid the arguement.

@Tex by saying that you took all four sections in one window is an arguement that 18 months is plenty of time which I would agree with.

I think this is all a bunch of nonsense anyway government monopolies = poor product/service. It was terrible before and is terrible now. I took all 4 sections in 90 days because I know we can't rely on these monkeys…..(-:

My advice, take it as quickly as possible and get your life back!

@AAA oh ok. I got confused because you said:

“This is really not thatttttt crazy of a score release. But….. it does suck as my NTS expires on Apr 12th who knows if ill be able to reschedule in time:/ I understand the pain but it's always sucked, not just this time around….. ”

but on your sig it says that you pretty much already took all 4 parts so I was a bit confused about what NTS you had in hand.

I have a feeling scores will be released between now and the 23rd. Why? Well the testing window was held open for an additional 6 days so that would extend the normal score release date of mid-month by 6 days which would put us at the 21st but the NINJAS said the score release date would be the 17th so that takes us to the 23rd. Just a theory and I'm stickin' to it.

OMG I am getting really annoyed at the replies on going concern article!! How can they possible talk about us like that and say we should get our act together and pass the exam in 6 months or that we are f**offs… aghhhhh!! These people seriously need to be more considerate.. who are these people?

    Jeff,

Last week u said the scores would be released this week, do your Ninjas still stand by that or should we expect them next week.

I just need some clarification so I don't waste my time checking for scores. It's funny how IL posted that they'll be released 21-25, so I'm hoping that timeframe is correct.
