@DuckTales – 48 hour wait to reapply after score release…then about 5 days for approval…That is what I experienced with my last section…Oh I so don't want to re-live that moment….
@James_w – It's ok…People love to hate LSU fans as well…We understand…the smell of success intimidates people and I guess it's best down played by substituting something else…hahaha…So…how did Sabin smell when he arrived in Alabama? Corndog smell went away quick I suppose…….
I hope you know I am teasing….LSU fans know they are arrogant…Geaux Tigers!!
@Nemnar I think I answered that somewhere else on this site. I can't remember specifically but here's my best guess… 120 for FAR, 80 for AUD and REG, 60 for BEC.
No scores for alabama, so im going to bed. night yall 😛
BEC 69 (very little studying) 88 (lots of studying, becker)
REG 90 (lots of studying, becker)
AUD 96 (lots of studying, becker)
FAR 52 (0 studying) 76 Im Done!!! (lots of studying, becker)
Ducktales My state won't allow me to reapply if they don't have the results of my exam. Can you reapply without the score? I thought I read that you were going to reapply before you get your score.
Heres my complaint…..however long candidates had to prepare for this, the AICPA easily had three times longer, its not like they announced changes the first day they thought of them. They had sufficient time to plan for ANY number of candidates testing, and ANY number of possible outcomes. They had enough time to develop an infinite number of matrices for scoring and test them, and RE-test them with dummy data. But for some reason we are being told they didnt REALLY know how to score the exam until they saw all of our completed exams? I'd like a survey of program developers who would say how long it could POSSIBLY take to compare scores when something like 80% of the grade relies on multiple choice questions with only 4 possible answers……not so hard to write “if <40% of answers are B, then weight the question 80%”
Hate-the-process – I, too, only studied REG for two weeks. I graduated December 18 and had a little over two weeks before I started work. Removing procrastination, a busy school schedule, and everything else that happens in life, I figured I had only studied about 2 weeks for BEC and AUD – I passed both. I do think I cut it a little too close for REG (I only had 2 days of final review) so I am very nervous about how these scores will look.
FAR - 10/4/10 80 BEC 10/29/10 82
AUD 11/30/10 79 MAS degree 12/17/10 Job - 1/03/11 REG 1/08/11
The rub is that we are not being given the same conditions as previous test takers.
Previous test takers had the results much sooner allowing them additional time to register and restudy if need be in order to retest in the following window. Not so with us. They had a distinct advantage.
For those testing right now, the test is not “uniform” in comparison to those who took in the last two to three years.
I took Reg the first week of the testing period. It has been well over two months. At this point, I have truely lost interest in the scores. Scores will be out sooner or later. Here is what I have been telling myself during this whole process: there is much more into life than waiting on a freaking exam score. I will know when I know, and I will be done when I am done. In the meanwhile, I refuse to allow various accounting bodies to have any further influence on my mood or my lifestyle anymore. Peace.
BEC 91 08/22/2010
AUD 96
REG 90
FAR 81 07/24/2011 Done! I can't believe it
Funny thing is, I prob wont even get a raise at my job when I do finish this up. Im getting all worked up over something that currently wont change things that much. Hopefully it opens more doors up for me though
