This scoring model situation and new test format should have been tested prior to going live.
While I'm on a rant, allow me to state that I'm also a pissed off at the fact that the requirements for CPA licensing vary by state. This can create a mess for folks who move to a new state. For example, once I pass the exam, I will be able to be licensed in CA, but to become licensed in TX, I will have to take additional courses, and possibly even change jobs since my experience won't count in TX. As a matter of fact, I don't meet the requirements to even sit for the exam in TX, but I meet them in CA. This is just stupid.
