This has been the worst exam window so far for me. Usually by now I would have had my score. This window it was a hard test combined with a longer than normal wait time for scores & that the fact that for the first time I think I failed a test. This has not been a good past 7 weeks. )-:

    FAR-81
    BEC-84
    AUD-91
    REG-89

Just got mail from NASBA and checked the sample score report link.

How can you tell if you passed or not from this report?

What about 75 to 80? Is that new passing score?

    Anybody know?

    FAR 85
    REG 90
    BEC 81
    AUD waiting

LaniWai – I got the same email. This is very similar to the report that we used to get but maybe now more states are sending it out? I don't know. The way WA used to report was by giving the actual grade at the top and then each section would have a grade and it would show the average grade of those who passed with a 75-80. Then it would tell you if you were weaker, comparable, or stronger in those areas. I believe 75 is still the passing score.

    FAR 82
    AUD 81 (2007), 73, 80
    REG 68 (2010), 76
    BEC 58 (2007), 75 DONE!!!!

Ugh, the NASBA email also states that all scores will be released at the end of the testing window for the next 3 windows. If I failed my last exam, that will really screw me up.

I didn't notice any difference between the new sample reports and the old score reports.

LaniWai: I think they were just giving 3 possible scenarios, not saying that you had to get 90 in order to pass. I believe the passing score is the same.

    AUD - Passed 11/20/09
    FAR - Passed 08/20/10
    BEC - Passed 10/25/10
    REG - Passed 2/18/11 Maryland

Actually, now that I look at the sample report again, It looks like they got rid of the numerical scores. It just says Stronger, weaker, and comparable. I hope they don't plan to do the same for the actual score report…

    AUD - Passed 11/20/09
    FAR - Passed 08/20/10
    BEC - Passed 10/25/10
    REG - Passed 2/18/11 Maryland

I think nasba owes us some compensation for this new score release business. They're making it awfully hard to create a study plan in case of failure with the new score release

I have never got reports like this before.

Three reports I got simply show the score but nothing else.

Does it depend on the State Board?

It was so simple before; all I have to look for is score, if it's equal to or more than 75.

    This report looks so confusing.

    FAR 85
    REG 90
    BEC 81
    AUD waiting

That is because you passed….you only receive the break down if you did not pass.

Ugh – I know Bob! I check my email SEVERAL times a day just in case for some reason they decide to email me my score before the projected release date. You never know – it's a possibility. I hate hate hate waiting.

    FAR 82
    AUD 81 (2007), 73, 80
    REG 68 (2010), 76
    BEC 58 (2007), 75 DONE!!!!

CPAexcel on my FB page just posted that there was a tweet from AICPA to NASBA that scores wouldn't be released until the end of March. By the time this is over with I will have developed a serious ulcer. I MUST pass FAR and BEC before May or I lose my AUD credit and have to start over. I am seriously rethinking this career move and going back to being a project manager.

I also noticed on the FAQ they mentioned BEC could be released after the others due to it having Written Comm. Not what I wanted to hear—I am waiting for BEC and am currently sitting on my hands since if I fail I plan to just retake it ASAP rather than jumping into Reg for 2 months

Does anyone know how to interpret the post NASBA put earlier on their FB page that says “For the first three testing windows (January/February, April/May, July/August) in 2011, all candidate scores will be released after the close of the testing window. Prediction of mid-March are incorrect – After the CLOSE of the window.”

Assuming CLOSE of the window is Feb 28 (now March 6), I don't understand why mid-March predictions could be so incorrect? Any ideas from anyone?

    .

    REG-1/25/11 82!
    BEC-2/22/11 93!
    AUD-4/19/11
    FAR-5/29/11

We definitely need more transparency from the AICPA and NASBA. It feels like this is some kind of secret society like the skulls or the Freemasons.

    FAR 88 - BEC 86 - AUD 90 - REG 85

I just took FAR for the second time and I actually feel good about it. My BEC expires April 5 and i was thinking in being extra safe and sending my re-application fee incase i dont pass. Does anybody know if they will give you a refund if i did pass. Anybody had this experience happen to them? Thanks.
