In response to the statement in your recent “CBT-E & I-Exam FAQs” posting, you have neglected some key considerations in your assumption that telling people in 2010 about the single score release allows people to “plan accordingly.” First, when a single score release was announced, candidates naturally assumed the release would be in keeping with previous release timelines, which typically fell within 2 weeks of the end of the window and would have allowed plenty of time for re-registration in advance of the next window.
Second, for those of us who are potentially waiting for final scores, we are completely unable to “plan accordingly” as we don't know whether we need to retake tests or not. I took 2 exams during this window, possibly my final 2 exams, and it is imperative I be able to retake any that I did not pass during the next window. I can neither initiate the re-registration process nor know if I need additional study materials until I know if I have passed or not. How would you suggest I have “planned accordingly” in this situation?
