For those who can't access facebook at work, here's the pertinent part of NASBA's recent post:

18-month eligibility
Some have also asked about the 18-month eligibility period and raised the question of it being possible to extend this timeframe. This is not something that can be changed as the requirement was set by state boards of accountancy in 2004, and takes into account non-testing months and end-of-window score releases.

They start out with “We know you're frustrated. Our bad!” and end with “We told you about this a long time ago. You had enough time to prepare.”
The thing that bothers me the most is that they're selectively responding to facebook posts. For example, I noticed on the AICPA page, three people in the last few days posted “hi I want more information” type posts, and got immediate responses. Somebody posted a very well written complaint post 18 hours ago, there have been a dozen comments on it, and no word from the AICPA. I guess they're just going to ignore that inconvenient post? Or when they do respond, they'll just post a link to something we've all seen. I swear, that's even more frustrating. I'm honestly afraid to complain too loudly on the AICPA page for fear of a retaliatory failing score.
