BEC 78 11/13/10
REG 68 in 2011, 79 Passed 10/1/11
AUD 78 11/30/11
FAR Take 2012
Wife is due with our first 5/31/11 will lose BEC credit on 5/31/11 TWO DUE DATES!!
Regarding credits, if you have a BAcc, you probably only need fillers. I was in need of 6 credits, so I took two online courses from ACCREDITED community colleges….. “10 Key Mastery” for 1 credit and “Beginner Spanish” for 5 credits. I had taken 2 years of high school Spanish but none in college, so it was the easiest refresher I could take that I'd actually benefit from.
The 10-key class took me about 2 weeks of lunch hours at work. LOL. The Spanish has been more involved, but 3/5 done at this point. WOOHOO! My hope is to be done testing and done with credits all at the same time.
“As part of our membership in the AICPA, we are subject to regular peer-reviewed audits of our firm, quality control and general practices. We are proud of the results. Our last three audits resulted in unqualified (clean) opinions.” — AICPA on Facebook jajaja
well based on this little big problem with the CPA exam I'd say the next one should not be that good..
My husband has told me several times, “I can't imagine you wouldn't pass considering how much you studied.” Now given that he has seen me through all 4 sections, some which I passed the first time and some which I didn't, he may be a good judge. But still, every time he says it I think about the thread on here about “Stupid things said by friends and coworkers about the CPA exam.”
My husband says it all the time “you studied so much,” “you're so smart,” “you studied your a** off,” and he doesn't get that none of that really means anything…. really.
This is too funny reading these things. I passedBEC with an 86, and my wife autmatically thinks I will pass every other section now. She doesnt realize I dont work in Tax and REG is like a foreign language
I wish I could audit (specially, an agreed upon procedures would be better) the AICPA scoring process………………..That would be the easiest adverse opinion ever hahahaha They will fail all agreed upon procedures related to quality standards
Jdiiorio- just go to the search line at the very top of your FB page and enter “AICPA.” The pic is the AICPA logo and it should be the first one that pops up.
