Watch this…. they will wait until this weekend, midnight on Saturday to upload scores.
Last FULL week of the month, Sunday is technically part of that week.
Actually this is total B.S. I'm making up but there are very few scenarios I can come up with that would both explain the wait and allow NASBA to have any kind of chance in he!! of getting their scores uploaded without being bombarded by approximately 40,000 F5s every 3-4 seconds and melting down their system.
I like how they are now tweeting “Candidates should expect the AICPA to release results to NASBA in the last week of the month.” They are madly trying to deflect some of the rancor onto the AICPA. The AICPA could care less because they have their approximately $4million in fees for the testing window and now the candidates can go screw themselves as far as they are concerned.
I read all your posts and agree 100%. It is not fair the 18 months windows, the scoring system and so on. The big question is, Have they realized about all these issues, It will be great if they could read all these posts. What coudl we do, so they are aware of all of our comments.
Maybe if they are aware of all of our concerns something could be changed.
okc, this isn't hurting them at all. They have no reason to change anything unless such a large population of CPA candidates gathered and boycotted the exam all together that it affected their revenue. Thats not likely to happen though.
I really wish that I haven't spent that much money on the review courses and exam fees. I would have got myself out of this big messed without a second thought if I haven't invested too much $$ in it. Shouldn't they be a professional organization? Obviously their action is showing that they're not.
Pshustler – you just made me do my first unexpected, laughing out loud – at my desk – thanks for that! Now I am going to try studying for BEC which I have first week in April:)
I wonder how much NASBA even knows… they might just be talking because they don't know what else to say, and clearly CPA exam candidates aren't willing to accept an “I don't know.”
I need someone to give me some incentive to stop checking this site every 5 minutes for the next two weeks so I can get some things done. I don't have the will power to do it on my own! Any ideas?
Am I the only one who wonders who these “NINJAS” are? how are they so well informed? Who do they really work for? Why cant the be used against the AICPA to expidite our score release?
BEC 69 (very little studying) 88 (lots of studying, becker)
REG 90 (lots of studying, becker)
AUD 96 (lots of studying, becker)
FAR 52 (0 studying) 76 Im Done!!! (lots of studying, becker)
@nemnar, I thought that the ninjas were NASBA informants, but maybe not… that's why I said that I have to wonder what NASBA even knows… the AICPA might just keep them in the dark too. Who knows? All I do know is that my productivity at work is 0, and will be 0 for approximately 2 more weeks, if what they say is true.
