I agree. I wouldn't bring “rights” into this argument. However, you have to admit that the AICPA and NASBA are in a position where they can be lazy/unresponsive/vague simply because they have a stronghold on the certification process. If there was a real alternative to the CPA, I would be voicing my dissatisfaction by sending my money to the alternative or we simply wouldn't be having this discussion as the competing certification agencies would be offering vastly superior customer service to stay competitive. It's CPA or bust for 90%+ of the profession if you are wanting to be certified.
Regardless, I couldn't care less about having or not having a score at this point. My beef is simply having an ample amount of time to react should I have to. A 100% score release at the very end of the month is going to be chaotic on the re-registration process.
thanks for the tweet NASBA about last week of March LOL. I know its the AICPA that holds all the reins right now, but geesh how about pouring some salt in an open wound!
I'm not sure what NASBA expects our reaction to be from this tweet besides our disgust, dissapointment and general lack of respect with this whole process.
I guess now I can continue to press F5 for 2 more weeks because against my better judgement, I do hope they are just playing with us!
Yes because if the scores get released even 5 seconds before the 31st, we will all forget our utter disguist today and pledge our undying love for them!! (and we will) Way to make themselves the hero!
We need AICPA ninjas, not NASBA ninjas. NASBA ninjas, if you can find one, are only going to pass along the info that was relayed by the AICPA.
The AICPA is busy forcing their jacked up scoring methodologies to produce an output of where a scaled score of 75 fails ~50% of the population. That's the only possibility; otherwise, scores would be out by now.
Of course, NASBA will be on the crap list after the giant cluster !@#$ that will inevitably ensue when they try to release 100% of the scores on their low capacity servers and fail process the next NTS batch in time so that candidates are screwed out of appointments that will allow them to beat the 18 month rule…
