jdiiorio, thanks for the words of encouragement. I will be ready to take AUD by the first week in April. I am on track but I think motivational wise is where I am most having issues. In prior windows I'd start studying for a new section and by the time I start feeling burnt out scores would come out which would re-energize me. That would keep me going until its time to take the next exam. Well so far during Audit there hasn't been anything to re-energize me once I feel a bit burnt out. This will b e the first time I've gotten my score after I was ready to take the next section.

    FAR-81
    BEC-84
    AUD-91
    REG-89

Yea, I get that makes sense. I still have a while before I am ready for AUD.

I think we should all take a break from stress and declare a one off day where everyone just takes the time to do fun things that they haven't been able to do cause of this exam!! Maybe that will re-energize all of us as well as calming us down.

    ILLINOIS CANDIDATE
    FAR - Passed
    BEC - Passed
    AUD - Passed

as we all wait with this torture, i'd like to ask you guys if anyone had the same problem i did on exam day. i went in to take REG at approx 3:30PM, and the girl tells me, “you may have to go home and reschedule. the CPA exam system is down; only 1 person has been able to take the exam today.” so, i freaked out and waited there for an hour and 45 minutes as the girl kept trying to bring my exam up, and i was probably one of 3 lucky people whose exam worked that day. (thank goodness for scheduling at the end of the day). of course as i took the exam, all i could think about was that the computer was going to crash any second or my exam wasn't really going to be scored since it was messed up all day. im taking the exam through alaska, but sitting in florida. anyone else have this problem??

    BEC [50, 67, 78]
    AUD [64, 81]
    FAR [46, 70, 66, 81]

I just saw Jeff's post about score release being the last week of March now? Please tell me that's a joke. I've been waiting since January 4th for today, holding on to the hope that I can be done with this tortorous journey… today. Now I find out I need to wait another 2 weeks? I don't think I can take it anymore. The agony is really unbearable. I've been neglecting everyone in my life since I start this process last May (including my daughter) and now I find this out.

I hope all of my co-workers steer clear of me today. I'm going to be in one S%$^* mood.

Someone posted on fb about losing credit because it expires early April…so what if your credit expired April 1…score released march 28? Can nasba really process an NTS you receive it and schedule an exam in 3 days? Feel bad if that's ur situation.

I've seen people posting about credit expiring and am really hoping I didn't misunderstand and screw myself. I passed my first section (BEC) on 8/17/09 so originally assumed I needed to pass all by 2/17/11. I passed AUD and FAR during 2010. I read on my most recent score report that my BEC credit wouldn't expire until the end of the month I passed BEC in, which would have been 2/28/11 rather than 2/17. In order to give myself an extra week to study I took REG on 2/25/11, which is technically a week past 18 months. I'm sitting in VA. Does anyone else have a score report from their state board like this or understand it to work this way? This means no one should lose credit the first week of April, unless VA works differently. If I didn't pass REG it doesn't really matter because I'll have lost my BEC credit either way 🙁

With what hope I had left on getting results this week I sent e-mail to NSABA last night,

    Hello,

Can you please let me know how soon the Jan –Feb 2011 results will be available?

    Thanks

We are expecting to receive the scores from the AICPA sometime at the end of this month.

    Thank you.

Chicpamom, you are correct. That's why I decided to take my exam earlier in the window because I felt alot of people woul dtry to schedule toward the end of the window and that would lead to scheduling issues. Also, once scores are released NASBA website will not hold up under the strain of probably 50K candidates trying to get scores. This is going to be a complete disaster. This hasn't been thought out at all.

Just like the AICPA is specific as to when you can take your exams, when the window expires, and exactly how much time you have to take each exam, they should also be held to the same standards. They should have a target date set for score releases, and if they can't meet it, they should give an estimated date of release and the reason for the delay. They take pictures, fingerprint, videotape, dna sample, etc…. They make us jump through hoops, however, they make no promises, therefore they cannot be held accountable. Both parties should be held accountable, this should definitely not be a one way street, since we have to meet certain standards to even sit for the exam…

    B - 78 11/09
    A - 84 10/09
    R - 85 05/11
    F - 86 11/10
