So just of the ‘score release' subject, I am using Becker to prepare for BEC next. Whats the best way to prepare? Just listen lectures and do MC over and over?

The AICPA is hurting the economy by delaying the scores. Thousands of accountants have reached 0% productivity, incurring in losses for their respective companies. That means we need the government's approval to make the AICPA accountable for their actions and the possible consequences of their negligence for customer care. OK…………forget all I just said and give me my score!!!!!

@CPAche YUP LOTS AND LOTS of MC questions! I wouldn't waste too much time on the WCs…just make sure you really understand the multiple choice questions backwards and forwards! Good luck!

I've used Becker for all four parts–the lectures suck, but they are helpful in identifying what is important and what is not. DO EVERY SINGLE MC YOU CAN GET YOUR HANDS ON.

I highly recommend the Final Review for more practive once you've memorized the answers to the MC in the normal review.

I used Becker for BEC. I think I passed…but you never know. I actually took the online class at the end of 2010. Once I got my new 2011 material, I skimmed through the lectures so I could update my new book with notes. I read the majority of the 2011 book (skimmed through the last section due to time restraint). I did all the HW questions over and over until I got them all right. Once I did all the homework…I moved on to the review etc. I will let you know how I did. I felt that I was well prepared for BEC for the most part. I ran a little short on time….I wish I had another week to review deeper on the last section.

Thanks everybody for studying recommendations. That is exactly what I did for my preparation for AUD; however, on the exam they still managed to give me questions that I did not even see in my material.

I would highly recommend flash cards. Memorize flash cards before watching each section within each topic. Then, as you watch each section, make new flash cards for stuff Becker does not have a pre-printed flash card for. Also make additional notes on the pre-printed flash cards.

Pause and rewatch if you zone out for a second. After each section within each topic, go through pre-printed flash cards again and memorize any new flash cards you created. Then go through all MC questions. If you get 80% MOVE FORWARD. There is too much info to dick around on any one topic for too long. If you finish all topics with time to spare then go back through and do incorrect/marked MC questions.

When I took REG all I did watch watch the lectures, then immediately did MC questions, then memorized the pre-printed flash cards last. I was going to rely on having memorized the flash cards to really help me get through. Well, after taking REG, I now realize that is not enough. Becker really needs to double the amount of flash cards they offer and have more info on each one.
