I can't freaking fathom how unprofessional the AICPA has been. I have taken my CFA exams, they told us the date of the score release, then released them by 8:00am that morning. This notion of “soon”, “this week” is totally unprofessional on their part. It isn't that they are new to this, they have been around since 1887. One would think they know how to do it by now
@billyjack : I agree that it's hard to tie how you feel about the test afterwards to your scores. But when I'm just waiting around and reading forum posts, my imagination starts running and it's just way too easy to be pessimistic. 😛
@cgarv01s- no AUDscores yet…only FAR has been released. Rumor has it AUD will be LAST to be released, but I'm hoping that's not the case. For all of our sake let's hope they release all 3 today- doubtful, but a girl can dream
@ FL_hopeful I want to do the same thing as that video with the AICPA and NASBA logos. Each time I see a tweet that is not related to the exam, I go on a rampage.
None of this had to happen! If the AICPA had just set up a “test” for the new test and had licensed CPA's take the exam as a “trial run” then they could have had all of the “test” data they needed to assess the level of difficulty of the questions. We could still be taking the old format while they were tinkering around and getting things right. Instead we (the candidates) were used as human guinea pigs. I guess they can't say their product was never tested on animals!
