Tall grass is some good stuff as well. I am in OKC, but some of the pubs down here stay pretty up to date on the tallgrass and boulevard seasonal. Maybe it is due to the Sooner State having a little respect for people like Michael Bishop and Josh Freeman. Just my theory.
I got 81 on REG last year with 1 sim only, now looks like we have to pass TBS as a standalone exam for 75(+) in total score.
and as far as being fair : got 71 on FAR today after studying really hard, but my guess is that with this new scoring anything between 70+ and 80- is a roll of dice until 2012.
@FL – no matter how they determine guessability i think that is a BS indicator for rating a questions difficulty. For a profession that is all about disclosure, i find it ironic that it is impossible to determine how your grade is actually calculated.
What is your opinion on “marking” questions for review? Do you think it has an effect on the scoring process. If so, I'm screwed b/c I'm very liberal in my marking.
mmariano I am with you. IMAGINE a cpa telling a client “you owe $1,000,000 in taxes but I am prohibited from telling you how I arrived at that figure”.
@herbert7890- I am a saggi as well, fingers crossed !!
omg ! if this marking the question thing is true i am soo not passing the BEC exam …I mark stuff even if have the slightest tiniest doubt about the question …dear god !
