@bammers – I completely agree. I was thinking you meant wave 1 (2011) was at a disadvantage compared to wave 2 (2011.) However, I'm not even sure there is a wave 1 and 2 this time around.
@ Its Been One Long Journey : Put in your jurisdiction ID number (should be on your score reports and any other mail from your state co-ordinator).. I just did that but since I'm waiting on REG it still says that the scores have not been received.
I really don't give a **** what the Nasba tweets say. All I care about is getting my score, not about them treating me well or hurting my feelings. As far as I'm concerned they can say whatever the hell they want on twitter.
Need some help….so I found out i failed FAR and will be losing BEC. I took BEC as my first exam. I was wondering for those who have lost credit do you think you could study for BEC for only a month and pass (and working full-time)? And also any advice on FAR. I used Becker and supplemented it with Wiley. I never watched the lectures, are they helpful? What about Yeager Cram?
@tmdz I am right with you, even though I do state taxes, not FARmaterial. I got my 73 today after having a 70 and 71 before. I have improved every time but damn. I am really pissed right now and do not want to study anymore.
BEC - 75(expired), 79
REG - 63, 54, 61, 69 (Gave up for a year. Finally decided to really study) 73, 78
FAR - 70, 71, 73, 83
AUD - 61, 72, 72, 76
I'm from California and just get my first FAR score this morning. I got 86 and waiting for my AUD score. Waiting for score really a mental abuse… so nervous yesterday after I knew FAR score started to be released, don't want to eat anything and can't focus on my study material for REG. My girlfriend and my brother told me not to worry but IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII WANT MY SCORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Finally, most of my stress is released until I got my FAR result this morning. Thanks God…
@tmdz, don't beat yourself up. You are sooo close! And Cindy who teaches FAR in Yaeger constantly reminds us not to use this or that formula/information in real life, only for the cpa exam. Just like Disclaimers are rarely issued during Audits, yet we have to know ALL about them for cpa exam purposes. Keep your head up and know that your wife and newborn are proud of you for the committment you have made thus far and will continue to make until you are finally done with it all! My family constantly tells me how proud they are of my dedication to studying/passing all sections and obviously they are proud when I actually pass a section, but it seems like they are more impressed and proud of my dedication and committment.
They tweeted “New day. New anticipation.” which seems rather taunting and unnecessary. Then someone commented that whoever posts NASBA's tweets should be fired. and now the whole post is gone
I passedBEC the first time on 3 days of studying. The second time I probably put about 5 weekends into it. I was an Econ major / Accounting Masters so that is the easiest test for me. You can pass in that little time easily especially since you already have.
