Just got my IL FAR score. 95! One down…

    Also just for anybody curious:

-I found the exam itself to be about a gazillion times harder than the Wiley online test bank MCQs, however…

-I got a 95 on the exam and was scoring in the 87-93 range on practice Wiley exams.

So apparently the Wiley exams are actually a decent indicator. Good to know.

    FAR 2/23/2011 | 95
    AUD 4/15/2011 | 97
    BEC 5/25/2011 | 94
    REG 8/17/2011 | Fingers crossed

@pabernal, I'm in IN waiting on my last score (REG) and I can't re-register. Is it possible you failed REG and lost credit for AUD?

@studying mike, Congrats!!! A score of 95 is amaaaazing! I have found that the worst I score on the Wiley practice exams and MCQs, the better I do on the actual exam…which makes no sense really, but true in my case. When I say worst, I mean in the high 60's to mid 70's. The only time I was scoring high 80's to high 90's was on Auditing annnnnnd I failed it the first go around.

I AM DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 75 on FAR…close call! Just about had a heart attack when I saw my score. I am so glad to be done, but I am a little sad too. Is this normal? The exam has been a huge part of my life for so long, I feel like a little piece of me has died.

    BEC- PASS
    REG- PASS
    AUD- PASS

No, audit expires on October 2011. Does this work for candidates registered in other states as well?. I am registered in Virginia. However, not surprised if I failed REG.

    BEc – 81

    AUD – 81

    FAR – 78

    REG – 2/28

I wonder why I can't reregister then. It says “We are sorry. Currently all sections of this exam are still in process. Please call the number below.

Does anyone else who took BEC this window feel that had the exam contained more calculations as in previous windows, they would have passed without a doubt this go around? I heard about how important knowing formulas etc. was on BEC so I had them down solid and noticed not as many calculation problems as people had in previous windows. And lets be honest, as CPAs do we really need to know all the small details about IT that's included in the BEC review material? I mean, when are we going to be asked about super computers, microcomputers etc.? I understand there are some things about IT that we must know but BEC does overkill which in my opinion is a way for the AICPA to screw over candidates thus keeping the passing rate very low.

Are scores normally posted early tom. morning in Texas? Also, do they start loading by NTS# and go up, or are they typically all released at one time?

ErinBrookeTX: Far too many hours. Approximately 400-450. (Hence the username…)

It being my first exam, I didn't realize that I didn't need quite that level of familiarity with the material.

Lesson learned. I will not spend nearly as many hours on the remaining three.

    FAR 2/23/2011 | 95
    AUD 4/15/2011 | 97
    BEC 5/25/2011 | 94
    REG 8/17/2011 | Fingers crossed
