I am reaching my peak. I am sick of this $%#&. I want my score and I want it now! This is ridiculous. I am tired of being at their mercy. I am tired from work, tired from studying, tired from the time change! It's not enough that we go thru hell studying for this test, but we must also go thru hell to receive them?
@bammers…OMG I know the feeling a the “I am sure you did fine”…I get that a lot but usually before that i get “you are smart so”…I use to try to explain to people the magnitude of the test…but realized there is no way they could actually get it so I just say thanks now..
jajaja this past weekend I tried explaining the exam to two international people I met on a train. Neither of them accounting majors. They could not understand why I had to “study” while I had short term assignment in Europe and why I had not been going out every single night since I got here jaja and even though they didn't know what it was I still got the I am sure you passed.
the best example I've come up with is I ask my friends if they liked classes that had cumulative finals (no one ever does, of course), to which I then respond that FAR is 6 undergraduate and graduate courses all wrapped up into one 4 hours test, all cumulative of course.
More people are confirming that they contacted the AICPA and have been told scores won't be released until the week of the 28th. Which means they're trying to release every single score at the same time. Also means they probably don't have their curved tweeked yet and they are trying to use the entire population of exams to determine what is the passing score.
Unfortunately Jeff's prediction is about as good as ours these days — good guesstimates, but they are just that, looks like nothing will be confirmed until the first scores come in — womp womp
