As much as I piss and moan about this exam, failing an exam section is really very insignificant relative to what's going on in the world right now. My heart goes out to those affected by the ongoing nightmare in Japan.
AUD - 95, BEC - 85
REG - 85, Rawrrrrrr FAR - 88
Used Becker for all sections.
CA candidate not residing in CA
does anyone know what kind of score state California is?? how would i find my score out for CA? I didn't see it on any of the lists, so does that make it a snail mail state?? i really hope not.. thanks.. this was my first time taking the CPA. im not hopeful, but i would like to know how to find my score out.
Paulinejh, you go to your exam account (where you filled out your electronic application), sign in, go to the status tab and scroll to the bottom. Right now it will confirm your attendence at your exam section(s) and state “score pending.” When the scores are received, it will change to an advisory score. Make sure you scroll to the bottom. The scores will not appear in the top section for some time. This is, of course, if you checked the box to allow online delivery of scrores on the information tab.
Also, don't bother checking for a score all day. If it is not there when you wake up in the morning, it will not be there when you go to sleep that night, or any time in between.
So here I am, studying for REG having no idea how I did on my last 2 exams. Its hard to get motivated when I just want to know how I did on FAR and BEC. Hopefully these scores come in soon as Ive been waiting almost 3 months for my FAR score.
At this point I wish NASBA and/or the AICPA would just man up and say something like “Look, we really aren't very good with this scoring thing. We aren't trying to pull the wool over your eyes, we just flat out suck at getting this stuff ready to go in a timely fashion. The best answer we can give is that we will release scores as soon as possible, but not later than March 31st”.
At least that answer would give the appearance that these folks aren't simply toying with us on purpose or simply don't care. It sucks that these organizations are poorly run considering the money we shell out, but at least it would be a somewhat honest and straight-forward answer.
I feel like I am going insane. I literally want to scream at the AICPA. I tend to blame them more than NASBA because they are the ones that actually release the scores. I do get some comfort in coming to this forum. Sometimes I feel like no one around me understands what I am really going thru….but I know you guys get it….This is my last score and I want to be officially done.
I just saw on another site that 2 people called the AICPA directly and they said that scores won't be released until NEXT week. I really hope this is wrong. Come on NINJAS, give us some more details!!!
Seriously, they should extend the 18 month window to 24 months for all who are taking exams between now and the last window of 2011. You would think that would be common sense, but we all know that both AICPA and NASBA lack common sense.
ughhh what? Next week? I can barely focus on audit.
This anxiety is killing me.Its during this time in the process that I can't stop asking myself why I ever majored in accounting and why am putting myself through this when everyone in my life encouraged me to pursue much more “interesting and fun” careers (when I was going off to college). If nothing good comes out of getting this CPA I will never forgive myself for making my life close to miserable for whatever amount of time it takes to finish this test. I am starting to think I am a masochist for doing this.
Can anyone remind me why we do this again? Clearly I need motivation haha
