@bammers2, I didn't take REG in 2010, but I was almost certain that I failed it in 2011 because I did horribly on the SIMs. They were awful–really, really awful. Somehow I managed to pass thanks to the screwy scoring model.

    AUD - 95, BEC - 85
    REG - 85, Rawrrrrrr FAR - 88
    Used Becker for all sections.

So here is my b!tch session about this score release – we get tested over the whole testing data (granted for audit) in BEC (but still) – didn't the AICPA run test simulations for this new testing process to make sure it worked as they said it would – quicker score release? What the “F” is the issue with holding up so many scores for so long – I mean really into next week – good luck to those of you losing sections and not really having a ton of time to register and study before you expire.

@T-rex, congrats!! What was your score on REG? That gives me hope that I may have passed AUD this time around because although the MCQ's didn't seem too bad, the sims killed any hope of a passing score for me, initially. I'm praying the crappy scoring model works in my favor haha

howboutnow, I not done the Ethics part yet. I will probably take in May/June time frame. Yes, a virtual drink when we pass is a great idea 😀 Where have you been taking your exams. I have been pretty happy with the Auburn Hills Prometric site.

    AUD (11) & FAR (10) = 89
    BEC (10) & REG (11) = 78
    Ethics here I come!

@alohnes, my question now is why the hell is it taking them 48hrs btwn sections to release more scores? They released FAR, so why not release at least AUD and REG at the same time or at least within a day after FAR? I wonder if it has to do with the NASBA sites crashing…what do ya'll think?

    NEWS FLASH

Across the country this week work in accounting departments came to a virtual stand still as CPA candidates endlessly and nauseously awaited their exam results. Some candidates waited as long as 12 weeks for results despite being promised a quicker and more efficient NEW system prior to its release.

What is OASIS? How do I find out if it is updated?

NASBA site crashing isn't a new issue – that has happened for a couple of test releases anyway. They should fix that inbetween score releases if that is the issue. That is a crappy excuse in my opinion.

@bammers2, Thank you! I scored 85 on REG. Better yet, I scored 95 on AUD, but I walked out of that one feeling like the SIMs screwed me, too.

The lesson here is that it's damn near impossible to predict how you performed because the scoring methodology is so bizarre. Of course, we'll all waste lots of time analyzing the crap out of our performance anyway until we receive our scores.

I wish you the best with AUD!

    AUD - 95, BEC - 85
    REG - 85, Rawrrrrrr FAR - 88
    Used Becker for all sections.

@KJC- go to “My Application” in your state's NASBA screen and put in your jurisdiction id and bdate. If the “status date” is today, then your OASIS is updated.

    AUD - 92
    FAR - 73, 82
    REG - 72, 82
    BEC - 84 DONE!!!!!! 🙂
