@Luco you are much smarter than me, and you were able to pass using the less expensive methods. I could never have passed FAR and AUD without spending my nights with Tim Gearty and Peter Olinto. I wish I could describe the incredible feeling of euphoria I experienced when I saw that first passing score on my first section, FAR. It was literally the best physical sensation I've ever had. It felt like my entire future had opened up before me. And that was when I told myself all of this was worthwhile and I would keep plugging along to conquer each section. I don't even have an accounting degree (my BA and MA are liberal arts). Looking back I would even have paid Becker double what I paid for that feeling. There can't be any drug like that first sensation of passing the CPA exam. I know it will feel great when I finish this fourth one, but nothing is like that first time, that first passing score for FAR.
@Island Seoul is one of the largest cities in the entire world! It is one of the top two or three financial centers in the world too. There are major multinational corporations there and global banks. Quite literally Seoul is one of the very best places for a CPA to find incredible opportunities, especially audit (gotta audit all those publicly traded companies HQ'd there!). What in heck's name does Okinawa offer other than U.S. military bases?? You gotta get out of Okinawa and into the private sector.
Done with FAR, AUD, REG, BEC. Today, March 29, I will remember you forever!!
Delaware candidate.
Going to convert Peter Olinto to my team. 😀
