Called NASBA again this morning as I still hadn't received my test score even though they told me they had it two days ago (DE NTS #441)……asked to verify date of birth and they had it listed as 12/31/1969. The gentleman said that they are having that happen a lot lately.

Unfortunately, it was not good news. 68 on BEC. This was the third time I took this exam….it is suppose to be the easiest one, or so I thought. I have past all of the others, but can't seem to tackle this one. I have been using Becker and obviously need to switch it up. Any suggestions?

For those of you that are still waiting for test results, you may want to call NASBA and just verify your date of birth. Your score may be there, it just may be listed under a different birth date.

To all of you that have passed this window ~ Congrats! To those of you that have tackled this beast fully ~ You are admired!

You might tell your friend to call the OAB this morning. Sharon seems to FINALLY be in her office. I got through and told her my situation and she said that she couldn't tell me over the phone b/c of confidentiality. Then she proceeded to tell me that she didn't know if some individuals' scores didn't upload until we contact them, so I should have tried calling her. I told her I've tried calling her four times since Wednesday (voicemails included). Her response: “I'm still not going to tell you over the phone. I'm really busy, but maybe I can get to this this afternoon.”

Megan thank you for posting your scores, when I got the 56 in REG I wanted to cry because I thought I had set a record after seeing all the 71, 72, 73 and 74's. I posted mine so that if somebody got close to those scores they'd know that it does really happen!

God!! My signal had problems last night and couldn’t post. I failed BEC, got a 71. Now back to the books.

I was hoping I would be a CPA right now, but now I have two parts to go again, at 43 with 2 kids, but when I turned 40 I told myself, Life starts at 40s and I will be a CPA and I will work in Public Accounting, just for the fun of it, and I am determined to accomplish this goal, in the name of Jesus. So here I go again……

RicoCPA, if you are in Puerto Rico, Becker is a really good option. Becker has a special price for Puerto Rico candidates and the course includes the DVD lectures, lots of mcqs, simulations, flashcards and very organized books. This is the link: https://www.cpareviewpr.com/

You need to ask for the “self study” package, instead of the live classes. I used the self study and it works great.
