Erin – I HATE tax, too. Surprisingly enough, out of the 3 sections I've attempted so far, REG was the only one I passed on my first try! You can do it!!

    AUD 73,82
    REG 79
    BEC 72, 74 <---EVIL
    FAR 5/14/11

@keeptrying I have to ‘walk away' from my computer for a bit because everytime I see your 74s out beside AUD and BEC, it makes me extremely angry at the AICPA. It's just sooo not fair! GRRRRRR! Speaking of GRRRR, what happened to T-Rex? keeptrying, for AUD you may wanna stick with what you are using, but grab the 2011 Wiley AUD textbook ($45 or less) and practice the MCQs…that could save you a little bit of moola.

*sigh* okay, it's time for me to practice my responses to the most common interview questions, woohoo!

Bammers – (Why do I always want to spell that with a z??) It's my second child. I have a little boy that's 2.5. I think after getting the score, I cried mostly because I have to tell him (again) I can't play and I have to study πŸ™

I will have the option to reschedule (as long as there's spots!) for early July if I feel like the end of May is too soon. I just want to take advantage of every window! My scores expire 11/25/11, so I have 3 more chances to take BEC/FAR so I want to give myself each chance I have!

    BEC 52, 61, 74, 77
    AUD 80
    REG 75
    FAR 50, 60, 70, 74, 83...DONE!!
    ..Texas.. Baby #2 born 4/11/11

@Erin, go to gleim's website and download the FREE trial software for BEC and there's about 75+ MCQ on Corp Governance.

@ Kalya19 – It's funny how that works out. I work in external audit mostly, and a little in tax. But, the only exam I passed on my first try was REG, and I have yet to pass AUD. I thought I knew AUD, but the theory behind it all is what was throwing me off, lack of prep time, etc. Also, I noticed for AUD that you usually can easily wipe out 2 answer choices off tha bat.

    BEC - 71, 74, 77 (Feb - 2011)
    FAR - 73, 78 (Feb - 2011)
    REG - 83 (Nov 2010)
    AUD - 71, 84 (May 2011) - Done!! CPA licensed in TX (July 2011)

ARGH- still no BEC score here in Dallas, Texas. These 73s and 74s are not making me happy. Sorry to all who came so close, I know it's a heart-breaker but I still believe its better to get in the 70s then bomb it. You are all soo close!

    REG - 81 (2/2)
    BEC - 87 (2/28)
    FAR - 76 (4/18)
    AUD - 75 (5/20)

keeptrying – Ha! I just got that email too. And said a few choice words πŸ™‚

Erin – I felt like Becker covered that stuff pretty well, at least for the test I took. I don't really have any advice besides just really memorize that table in B1 with the CRIME mnemonic.

Someone also suggested using coso.org to look up information.

    BEC 52, 61, 74, 77

    REG 75
    FAR 50, 60, 70, 74, 83...DONE!!

Wow, a toddler and another little one on the way?! You are SUPER Mom for realz!! Yeah, I hear ya about wanting to give yourself as many chances to pass the beast before the lost of a section. Are you feeling confident about FAR? And when is the baby due again?

@Bammers – Certain areas I'm confident with on FAR, but I need to spend extra time on leases and bonds for sure. Baby is due in 3.5 weeks!

I must have ruffled some feathers with my nasty-gram on FB, because they supposedly “fixed” the problem. I'm not sure what their version of “fixing,” is however, because I still can't get my score, nor can the NE candidate or another MN candidate that have posted on there.

I also posted on the AICPA's wall complaining that NASBA wasn't following up and I put a suggestion on Going Concern's FB that they do a follow-up (which of course was blown off).

What about PR? Did any of you guys get your scores since the “fix?” This is going to be just like summer of 2010 when they kept telling us all day they were “fixing” it but sure enough, it didn't post online until the regular 9pm release.

They are so completely dishonest with candidates it's unbelievable.

    AUD - 92
    FAR - 73, 82
    REG - 72, 82
    BEC - 84 DONE!!!!!! πŸ™‚

yeah I think I might just stick with what I got and just do way more multiple choice from my Gleim software

    REG-80, 77, 77
    BEC-67, 68, 71, 67, 71, 74, 71, 74, 72, 77
FAR- 72, 65,67, 53, 75 (truth be known the 53 was with 4 hours of studying)
    AUD-58, 62, 72, 74, 74, 75
took 5 years but I'm DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
