I'm in Amarillo, and I've had to drive to Lubbock for one, but I think there was an issue with my testing center then. It's not very hard to get a spot at Prometric here, luckily, so I think I'll be okay with getting a spot. I've heard from friends in Houston and Austin that it's really difficult to get a spot sometimes!

    BEC 52, 61, 74, 77
    AUD 80
    REG 75
    FAR 50, 60, 70, 74, 83...DONE!!
    ..Texas.. Baby #2 born 4/11/11

@ Megan – I'm with you. I am so upset/motivated all I can think about is showing BEC who's boss next window. I already applied (but not paid to sit) for REG. Right now…. all I want is vengeance on BEC. I am debating on trying to tactical two in this next window….or just one. If I do one, I REALLY WANT to do BEC. I think my competitive side just clicked in! lol! I had about a month worth of study time for both AUD & BEC. I will be able to study more in a month's time since work has slowed down. I do not envy you. Right now, work is the only thing sucking the life out of me. I can only imagine how crazy it will be with a newborn!

    BEC was cruel this window…..argh!

@keeptrying, Megan & Erin, I'm soooo bummed for ya'll!!! That's sooo not cool! What the heck is up with all these borderline scores?!! I swear, if I wasn't a borderline score myself I would so email AICPA and ask what the heck is up and request they release a statement or something. *sigh* maybe after I receive my score in the mail I'll shoot them a little email.

For ya'll who didn't pass, see my post on page 51. Is it safe to say that Corp Governance is the main reason for all the borderline scores?? I think IT plays a role too. I HATE that we are tested on ridiculous aspects of IT.

@Allyson, I was really digging ‘Charlie'! But Allyson will do too πŸ™‚

    @keeptrying
, I like your new pic but soon you will be changing it to 99 πŸ™‚

    Megan,

There's a Prometric center on Harwin Dr, Houston, TX… You might be able to find good time availability if you planning to schedule an exam in Houston.

    Megan,

I can't imagine having a newborn and studying. Sleep deprivation and I did not work well.

Perhaps the AICPA is seeking revenge for all our demands for customer service, communication and transparency. They flunked us all!

I changed my name. Charlie Sheen is so yesterday.

I really don't' want to spend any more money on review material but I almost think I have to at this point! I'm so irritated with this!

@Megan, I cannot believe you are about to have a baby and you're taking these exams!! Everyone else who thinks they may have it bad/difficult, should look at you for inspiration because I cannot imagine having a kid on the outside or inside me and taking these exams. So for all you mothers, fathers and soon to be mommas, way to go!! Ya'll deserve medals or even better: trophies for attempting these exams regardless of the score you receive. Megan, is this your first child? If so, I dunno if I would schedule BEC at the end of May….but then again, I guess you could always reschedule if you are feeling overwhelmed with the new baby so you do what's best for you and we'll be here to support you either way πŸ™‚

I think that's EXACTLY what I plan to do….make BEC my biatch! Thank you BEC…. for the motivation to DESTROY you next window! I think I am going to do BEC then REG. I am more comfortable with the BEC material (go figure…I failed). I absolutely HATE tax.

PS I hate the friggin' email I get from TSBPA saying “exam score received”….don't you think I already checked my score at this point at 10 AM???

So the question is….how should I go about studying for Corporate Governance? I honestly didn't think this was a problem area for me….but it obviously was. I am using Becker.
