Ok, so I just went and re-read the CPA Exam content specifications. My score report shows that I was weak in Corp Gov. It references SOX Title III, IV, and VII. I actually printed those while studying, but only got around to reading the Title III. I studied the Corp Gov section from Yaeger/Wiley pretty closely, but after reading through all of these titles of SOX today, I am seeing a big gap of information I was missing. I recommend studying these closely.

    BEC- 73, 73, 80
    REG- 74, 83
FAR- 50(didn't study), 76 (<--How the heck did that happen?)
    AUD- 71, 71, 79!!!!!
    Finished!!

@princess, sorry that you rec'd a failing score on your first exam…it can definitely be a motivation killer, but keep in mind that less than 20% of people pass all 4 sections on their first try. BEC is a killer for sure especially in 2011 (from what I've heard from the peeps who have taken BEC in previous years and 2011). Continue on to your other scheduled sections and then come back to BEC as to avoid rushing to take other sections before your NTS expires. You got this and you've got us (cue the ‘full house' music). But really, keep your head up and be proud of yourself for studying and taking your first exam. Some people let fear keep them from even applying for the CPA exam, so you are definitely several steps ahead of those peeps.

@spectrum, I hate when you get a heel stuck in the pants, it's very embarassing!! Usually that happens to me in the office but thankfully I have a smooth soulja boy dance move down to compensate and play it off with..they don't call me funky fresh around the office for no reason 😉 Okay, I'm gonna go w/a skirt suit…now, if I get extremely hot from nerves and whatnot, do I dare take the jacket off and bare my sleeveless arms?? Or just sweat it out while trying to do a smooth swipe-my-hair-outta-my-eyes move to catch the beads of sweat on my forehead before they fall on my resume?

I gotta check out for a bit in an effort to find the perfect outfit for tomorrow…I'll update ya'll later on the outfit I choose.

@bammers- Taking off the suit coat…. That depends. Do you have a mad farmer tan you can show off? LOL.

I actually did have an interview once where I was sweating like crazy. Play it by ear. Just make sure you don't wear a bra that will show if you do take your coat off.

I would really play that one by ear though. If it's relaxed and a younger person, you could maybe take it off. If it's an older guy, no way. Leave it on. Unbutton if necessary, but older guy will want conservative (totally sexist, but true).

    AUD - 92
    FAR - 73, 82
    REG - 72, 82
    BEC - 84 DONE!!!!!! 🙂

James Bond 007 CPA – Great BEC score! Are you able to see the breakdown of how you did on each section? Can't see mine. Not sure if is due to be low score.

Where do you get the reports that say whether you're weaker or stronger in certain areas if you didn't pass?

    Texas candidates:

my BEC NTS expired 3/28 (this is my last exam to pass)… I cant apply with the board again because “you have applied to all sections or you have credit”…

Does this mean anything (that I pass BEC) or they just havent received my score?

@LAMY sorry i just read your post from last night. I did find the test hard yeah. I struggled with BEC for some reason. I think after taking it so many times you feel like you don't even know what to study anymore. But i'm happy it is over with even if I did only get a 75. Passing is passing. Now i can concentrate on FAR for April 22nd

REG 81.. BEC 75 (close one) AUD 63,73.. FAR 67,74..
