wow, I thought I might be going crazy, but Jeff just posted a poll on facebook with my exact concern. My BEC score report is the 2010 one. Apparently, “business structures” is “comparable” (not on the exam). There is no written communication??
Somebody else got a 2010 score report for AUD and had a “weaker” in written communication.
I wonder if this is a California thing, because so far only CA candidates are complaining about this…..
@MQ, it's hard to say since the OASIS status is 3/27. Like I said, early this morning and after I rec'd my BECscore, my OASIS still had 3/26 as the status date but it has now changed in the past couple of hours or so (per Spectrum). But you have the coordinator message, right? If so, that's a good sign but I won't say ‘without a doubt you passed' until that status date changes. Keep your fingers crossed and I'll do the same! 🙂
Hello everyone. I decided to join after observing after quite some time. I have a quick question for everyone. I'm still waiting on my Pennsylvania AUDscore, and am getting quite frustrated. When I try the loophole, it says that my information cannot be verified (not the usual “all sections in process”). Plus my score still has not shown up on the NASBA site. Any thoughts or facts on what is going on with this? I emailed NASBA yesterday, and they told me they just received the AUDscores yesterday (Monday), and that I should see my score shortly. I don't know how NASBA measures “shortly,” so I'm still freaking out thinking that they lost my exam or something. Feedback please?!

@eartzi – I'm in CA and having the same issue with my score report. There is no written communication listed on the report. Also, everything is just zero. The passing candidate performance and my performance columns are all zeros all the way down. It says I'm “Comparable” in every category. But either way I dont really care, all that I care about is that I passed!

@Everyone…So I have my first post-passing-beast-of-an-exam interview with an accounting firm tomorrow!! I just found out! What should I wear? A skirt suit dealio or a pant suit?? I have to go to Banana Republic first thing after work and pray to God they have pants that aren't too long on me or a skirt suit that doesn't make me feel like a grandma. AHHHHHH! I'm kinda freaking out right about now! Suggestions??
@reeyeses3 – It sounds to me like you are entering your information wrong if it is saying “could not verify information.” Have you tried it with your SSN instead of jurisdiction number?
@eartzi, I have a 2010 AUDscore report, but it's at home…I'll let you know what it says when I get home. I think I was comparable in the WC if I remember correctly, but I'll double check.
@bammers- I would say pants suit if you can find one with pants the right length. If not, better to get a skirt suit that makes you look like a grandma and spice it up with a cute shirt.
Having pants the wrong length is just bad. :p
Keep in mind this is coming from a gal wearing a suit with sleeves that are a bit too short…. I like to pretend nobody notices. *sigh*
Sorry @Reeyes, I forgot to address your post…Is PA a quick release state? I find it VERY aud (couldn't help myself) that you haven't rec'd your AUDscore yet. I'm pretty sure there have been quite a few PA people in here who have rec'd their AUD score already…or maybe that was their FAR score. Perhaps ya'll are on the same 36 hour dealio like TX and won't find out until tomorrow morning?
@spectrum, hahaha okay, so no to a pant suit that's too long (am I allowed to throw on some hooker shoes for some extra height?) and grandma it up if necessary. As for sleeveless, can I wear a sleeveless dress w/jacket suit? I have one of those…but it's sleeveless (yet very Jackie O)…can I pretend no one will notice or do you think they WILL without a doubt notice?
CA Candidate-Just found out this morning that I failed my first test – BEC. I am too embarrass to publish my score.
When I log-in to the CA Board, it does not give me a break down of each section within BEC. Does it take a while to upload? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@Princesskimber- bummer, so sorry to hear that! Now that you know what the exam is like, I'm sure you'll do better next time around!
@bammers- you can wear heels to make the pants length look better if it's close. Word of caution- I have done that and ended up getting a heel caught in my pants leg while walking. MAJOR WIPEOUT. LOL. You can definitely do a sleeveless dress with a suit coat over it. People here do that all the time, totally acceptable.
