But they dont get it…That is why I LOVE thsi forum…people here get me, this process, my fustrations, sorrows, and the ultimate happiness..

@Charlie…i love ur attitude and drive so inspiring….I agree I like Yaeger more for BEC compared to Becker

@luis and MQcpasoon – Don't get discouraged by a temporary setback, after all that's what the AICPA wants. They try to break our courage and stamina, they want us to give up but we won't because we are stronger than them.

    FAR 88 - BEC 86 - AUD 90 - REG 85

    @Kristen1449:

Just remember that there's no style points for passing everything the first time, or for getting 99's on everything. 20 years from now, when you have your license, nobody's going to care how you got it, or how long it took you to get it. Just learn from your mistakes, and try to figure out what you can do in the future to recover those few points that separated you from passing.

@stillwaiting, you're in a NASBA state but haven't rec'd your BEC score yet? If NASBA has rec'd your score, BEC is your last section left to pass, and you are getting the coordinator message then you most likely passed. Don't get too excited though because I would hate to tell you that and then for some odd reason you receive a failing score :-/

Has IL released BEC scores yet?

How often do the performance results change? i.e. the CA website says,

“It is NOT possible to derive – or even approximate – your total score from your performance results because the scores and performance results are calculated on different scales. This report is to be used as a study guide only. For more information on how the examination is scored, please see the CPA Examination website at http://www.cpa-exam.org. “

So I got a 70 on BEC- can that number go up or down? I got a 76 on FAR performance result and that was the exact score that was posted……

I'm sending in a new application fee regardless but has anyone had performance scores that end up changing?

@rstanton- It clearly has nothing to do with being the smartest accounting mind! I know I am not that amazing at accounting but have still managed to get parts of this done. My college friend who I though was an accounting genius has failed every test she has attempted. It blows my mind.

More bad news for me today…the 10 day forecast (yes very reliable I KNOW) says 50 degrees and rain for next Friday, which is my beloved Twins home opener! YUCK! Another study distraction = Twins Season tickets… I brought flashcards to games all the time last year! NERD

Has anyone from Oklahoma NOT received their BEC score? I have heard of at least six people that have received their scores on the OAB website, but I have not. It does not seem to be alphabetical or by NTS… any thoughts from Oklahoma people?

@Kayla, I brought flash cards to the CO Rockies games too last season! My family called me a dork and even took pics of me studying them while I wasn't looking and then posted them to FB…thank God for the ‘untag' feature. haha

Congrats to all who passed BEC!! And to all who did not, keep your head up!! I failed REG 2x before I passed, BEC 1x before I passed, AUD 1x before I passed and then FAR, I passed on the first try….It was definitely a long journey….

    REG 85 | FAR 85 | AUD 88 | BEC 76!!! DONE!!!!

@bammers….yes this is my last section. I just called NASBA and the gentleman stated that they have my score but to give it 24-28 hours to post. I stated that I knew he couldn't tell me the number so I was wondering if he could give me a thumbs up or down and he just started laughing and said “well that is a new one, but no I'm sorry I can't”.

    Back to the waiting game….

Yes, I have seen IL candidates post scores.

I am STILL waiting for REG and AUD results in Utah which is a NASBA 24 state. NTS is 4427###. Should I be freaking out that I have not received them yet?

@bammers2 – Yes, I'll be using Yaeger for AUD also, I got the whole 2011 package. So far I'm finding AUD easier than BEC, so I'm hopeful I'll pass AUD too.

I would recommend Yaeger to anyone. Although I admit I've been annoyed a few times because they don't really edit their videos. But aside from that, I like it. It's really helpful to have someone tune you in to what's more important and more likely to be on the test, as opposed to just trying to tackle everything from the book equally.

I think no matter what review program you use, the most important thing is to put in the time and practice taking the tests! I loved the Wiley CDROM that came with the Yaeger program, because I could just keep doing practice tests. And it was helpful to see your results by subject and then be able to do questions just from that particular subject. I think that definitely helped me pass BEC.
