I know I know I should NOT skip FAR. It's just I have so so so much going on in May. I may as well just do it though anyway since my NTS expires July 1 for FAR.
I really didn't think planning a wedding/ all the wedding events coming up would be sooo distracting 🙂 BLAH wedding is so much more fun than studying accounting though!
I think I am going to take your advice Spectrum and try to take BEC at the end of May…giving me a few weeks to get back into BEC after FAR.
Allyson/charliesheengoddess I know this stings, but hope it cheers you a bit that you are such a role model to those of us on the beginning end of this journey!
@keeptrying, I used Yaeger for every section but also used Gleim MCQ software for BEC only. There's a free trial/demo on Gleim's website for each section and they include MCQs for corp governance in this free trial for BEC.
Just found out I passedBEC with a 78! Yay Im so happy! I used Yeager. I am so relieved because I thought I did horrible! I actually wanted to just walk out of the test I thought I was doing so bad. I wanted to cry afterwards. I definitely thought the exam was difficult, I'm so relieved I passed!
Working a full time job and studying for this exam is no joke! I've been feeling so exhausted lately, I'm studying for AUD now. And worrying about whether I passed BEC made it so much harder cause I didnt know if I would have to retake it! I know its been said a million times, but the wait is ridiculous! But now I feel like I have renewed vigour to take on AUD! Congrats to everyone who passed! And for those that didn't, keep trying!
@kayla, have you already began studying for FAR? If so, perhaps you could push it up to the end of April and then BEC mid-may or late May depending on your schedule w/all the wedding activities. Just a thought. Either way, you're soooo close and I know you WILL do it!
I have the full Gleimsoftware package….but only really like it for the questions. I'm contemplating shelling out more $$ on Yaeger for BEC, if I need to.

I have studied a TINY bit. I just could not get back into it after my last exam. I am kicking myself now. Well see, I am trying to figure out a study plan right now (I am sure my boss would be thrilled) maybe I can push it up. Either way I've officially told myself that I will be taking FAR and BEC by the end of May. 🙂
@Ella, congrats!! Are you using Yaeger for AUD? If so, make sure you follow Gary's (I just remembered his name after thinking it was Harry) advice and do plenty of MCQs and you should pass w/flying colors!
For all the AUD takers, the week before your exam, read over at least the highlighted portions of the text for each module/chapter as well as your notes for that particular mod/chap and then go through every MCQ for that mod/chap. I created a blank answer sheet in Excel for AUD 2010 and 2011 Wiley (let me know if you would like a copy and I'll email you) that I used to keep track of how well I was doing on MCQs for each module. Remember to look at the wrong answers for each question as well so that on exam day, when two answers look very similar or look correct, you will know how to distinguish the right one from the wrong one. Ideally, you want to be able to go through the MCQs twice for each module the week before the exam, but you may have to go through a particular module's MCQs a 3rd or 4th time if you are scoring below a 75.
Argh. I am so nervous. I don't think I will be able to sleep tonight. I think my body will be wired waiting for 4 am to come….I foresee a restless night of tossing and turning in anticipation of my score being released. It's getting closer to that hour, fellow Texans!
@charlie-thanks!! I cried last night for you and Becks and well for myself and my amazing 74 in AUD. I was really praying for you guys too! We all can do this!!! I haven't scheduled my AUD yet, I'm waiting to see if I need to cramBEC in there this window too.
