Congratulations to all those who passed and my deepest sympathies for those who didn't. I was lucky enough to pass my last one last night so I am pretty excited. I suggest using Gleim to study. The materials are cheap and the content is pretty much the same as the more expensive ones. I will be selling my Gliem (BEC 2011) book, audio CD's and my password for the online content. I will probably do it on Ebay and if people are interested, I will post the link on here.

As Jimmy V said “dont give up, dont ever give up.” It may seem impossible but it can be done. Last May I found out I failed 3 exams. I felt like quitting but you all can do this!!!

Just got my score for BEC: 73

This is the 2nd time i've failed and i'm pretty crushed. Last time I got a 70 (so i'm improving but i'm just not there).

I'm leaning towards picking up Yaeger because I really want to pass this exam before my wedding in June. Looks like i'll be taking BEC again in May.

    (My username should be Another73!)
    AUD: 73, 88 - PASSED!
    REG: 75 - PASSED!
    BEC: 70, 73, re-taking in May

An FYI, when I just tried to re-register through my state, the new message I get is: “We are sorry. Currently all sections of this exam are still in process. If you have questions, please call your Coordinator at the number given below. Please call the number below.” Before today all I was getting was ‘still in process' message. Soooo, if you are waiting for your last section and NASBA rec'd your score yesterday, try re-registering and see what your message is. If it's the coordinator message, you most likely passed.

Oh and my OASIS has still not changed…its last update was 3/26/11.

@Charlie, I'll do a cheer for you: Charlie, Charlie, she's our gal, she can do it with Becks, her pal! When she passes you can rest assure this Goddess won't be modest! That's all I got and it kinda sounds like a train wreck, but I tried πŸ™‚

@Insanity, you WILL do it! Don't give up! Try Yaeger, Cindy teaches the entire BEC course in 2011 unlike 2010.

@Erin, I don't think it works for TX since they are not a NASBA state :-/

@Kayla – Don't skip your FAR in May! 7 weeks is WAY more than enough time to study for FAR if you start now, budget how many sections you need per week and dig in.

You should be able to take both FAR and BEC this coming window. I would almost move up far a week to the 7th and then plan to take BEC again at the end of May. OR, push back FAR to the end of May (if you have room in your NTS) and do BEC again right away on May 1 (but only if you've already got some FAR under your belt).

I definitely strongly advocate for taking 2 sections each testing window and not skipping any windows. That leaves you room to fail a couple and still get in within the 18 months with some leeway. If you start skipping windows that 18 months can nail you if you get stuck on something.

    AUD - 92
    FAR - 73, 82
    REG - 72, 82
    BEC - 84 DONE!!!!!! πŸ™‚

After 7 tries, I finally passed BEC. I actually cried when I got my score because I was so happy.

I got an 80, NTS 441 in IL. To those of you who didnt pass just hang in there. I've been at this 4 years. This is not easy by any stretch and do not feel discouraged. Take a break and then get back to it.

For those who did pass, Congrats but don't rest on your laurels. For me I gave myself about an hour of celebrating this morning, but as soon as I post this, now it's back to studying for FAR which I have Saturday.

    Starting fresh in 2010 w/Becker!
    BEC: 74,80 (expired), 78 - FAR: 64, 60, 74, 68, 76 - REG: 70,60,75 - AUD: 74,78
Can't change the past but I CAN make the future.
    DONE - 6/8/13. After 6 LONG YEARS.
