@LAMY, I reeeaally thought I failed BEC because when I got home I checked at least 8 questions in my book and got them wrong and then I couldn't find the answer to about 7 others so I hoped/prayed those 7 were pretest questions and that the 8 questions I knew for a fact I got wrong, were the only ones I got wrong. I also didn't study much of the IT section because I thought it was such a crapshoot that decided to spend my time studying other areas.

feel like a pile of crap right now, really aicpa a 73?!!!! can anyone suggest a good review course for BEC, I used Roger previously but obviously it didn't work….this is the first time I've failed a section and after having spent 1 month studying and the rest in anticipating my score, I don't know what to do with myself. I start work at PwC this July and was really counting on being done with the CPA exam by then…so much for taking a vacay this summer.

I used Becker for BEC and it did the job but a lot of candidates think Cindy from Yaeger is even better for that section.

First time on this board. First try at first section is BEC on 1/31. I'm from PA. I've been tortured along with the rest of you the past few weeks watching everyone post. My NTS # starts 438.

I'll keep everyone posted if I here anything so you know where we are in the process. Best wishes to everyone. This is a brutal process, and I am just beginning. I can only imagine what its like for those who have been at this for years. Thoughts with everyone.

Good luck to all waiting on scores and congrats to all who have passed!

Keep your heads up. I took Audit FOUR freaking times (64, 73,& 71) and I'm proud to say I finally passed with a 93!!!!

I took two this window, FAR and AUD, failed FAR 65 but was more concerned with AUD. I almost lost all motivation after 4 failing scores in a row but everyone on here is so motivating and have a can do attitude which has kept me in positive spirits and feeling I can slay this beast!!

    Again, good luck and congrats!

BTW…I used Becker. Thought there was definitely some info on BEC that I had never seen. Frustrating, but I was just hoping everyone is in the same boat. With sections like IT and Economics…I think it is impossible for anyone to cover it all.

@Wannabe – I would *highly* recommend Gleim for BEC. The first time I took it in 2006 I used the Gleim audio, book and testing software. I lollygagged on my studying and only covered 1/2 the material in depth, and skimmed over the other half, but still managed to pass. It was thorough, straightforward and easy to understand. Plus the audios could be listened to while driving to reinforce stuff. The testing software can be used to track your success and areas to work on…. just a very good package all the way around.

    AUD - 92
    FAR - 73, 82
    REG - 72, 82
    BEC - 84 DONE!!!!!! 🙂
