Kayla – That's what I thought. I'm in Texas and ours only last 90 days.

Texas isn't a NASBA state, so the score release isn't dependent on my NTS#, but my NTS# starts with 445. I know they go in order by application, because the two sections I applied for are only one number difference (445xxx4 and 445xxx5). So I wondered why everyone else has 42x and 43x when mine's already nearly expired!

Man, I’m pretty bummed because I really thought I might squeeze by with this one. Last fall, I quit my job and moved about 600 miles for a cheaper living situation. I spent November, December, January, and February studying full time and all can show for is two passes. What I’m most disappointed about is my husband and I have been putting off starting a family for this test.

On the other hand, I guess I am a little proud of myself…two out four in one testing window probably isn’t anything to shake my head at. I’ve been pretty lucky to have a situation where I don’t have to work and focus solely on passing this test. I have more than a year to pass the other two and that really isn’t that bad. I don’t envy most you that have to juggle work, family, and other life obstacles with studying. I respect your dedication!

I guess I’m hitting the books for another month. Good luck to everyone who will be right there with me. Congratulations to everyone who finished in this window. I commend your perseverance!
