@senator, in prior windows the MCQs and sims were weighted differently (about 80/20) so you could do the MCQs and the WCs and not touch sims and still pass the exam easily. Now in 2011, MCQ/Sims are 55/45 so it seems like you would have to do decent on both in order to pass….then again, the scoring model makes no sense. Many people this window have said they did decent/well on MCQs and bombed the sims yet they still passed so who really knows.
@bammer2 – yeah that's true. I think the change in percentages will help me for audit but I wasn't sure if timing was an issue this exam as it was for the previous exams.
herbert7890 & Denials…..my NEW brothers…..I'm down too. I hate that there is no transparency at all. You don't know if we don't know if our scores have been released or nothing.
I have probably refreshed my Oasis page more than 200 times today…………………………….this is getting me sick and depressed. WTFFFFFFFFFFFFF NASBA, why do we pay you so much?????????? I need to punch something just about now.
Hate-the-process – I don't know if anyone's confirmed yet that the FARscores have all been released, but if they haven't, a couple of my scores were in that “straggler” bracket of 200 or so scores that were released after the majority were released. They were my passing scores though 🙂
My co-worker's borderline scores were stragglers too. But they were both passing scores!
BEC 52, 61, 74, 77
AUD 80
REG 75
FAR 50, 60, 70, 74, 83...DONE!!
..Texas.. Baby #2 born 4/11/11
The scores for FAR and most of REG have been reported and are available for on-line lookup. The balance of the REGscores and BEC and AUD will be sent by NASBA next week (March 28th-April 1). Scores will be posted on the on-line look up as we receive them. Please do not call the Board office asking about exam scores.
@You Can Do It – Texas posts early morning on the second day following release. So if your REGscore was released yesterday afternoon, it would normally be posted Saturday around 4AM but Texas doesn't post on weekends so it will be about 4AM Monday morning.
@Senator, My first time taking AUD I finished with either an hour or hour and a half to spare…and I failed. This time I think I went into the AUD sims w/about 2 hours left and used the entire remaining time to complete the sims. I was mostly reading through the different literatures under the research tab to help answer another tab of my sims.
Plus, I kinda have my own theory about letting the time run out vs. finishing early and that's only because I've received passing scores on exams that I've let the time run out on and a failing score on an exam I finished early.
