I am happy to report that I scored 85 in AUD. 🙂

That number is very close to my most optimistic estimate, so I'd say (although had been so agonizing to say the least) it was worth the wait for me.

For those of you who weren't so lucky this time, I wish you nothing but the best.

Here is my experience (hoping it'll help someone):

I used Gleim AUD program (2011 version) and Wiley book (not 2011 edition).

I barely did half of all the problems and no Wiley sims.

In my case, I found the Gleim mcqs most helpful but the sims not as much.

I was scoring b/w 75 and 95 on Gleim mcq (going over all the ones that I missed until I fully understood).

I hardly memorized any of the mnemonics but put more effort in understanding the concepts.

    Good luck to you all!

Let me be off-topic for a second and just say that I HATE STATEMENT OF CASH FLOWS. I have been working on this thing since this morning and have yet to get this thing to tie in.

I just had a partner at my firm ask ME, who still hasn't been able to pass this bleepin' exam yet, to contact a client and discuss their LIFO calculation because he(the partner) has never learned it and doesn't know how to interpret our calc….

    Isn't that ironic…

Should I send him some of the Peter Olinto stuff???

@BenderCPA I hate when things don't tie in. I had been working on this file two days last week and couldn't get it to check out to 0 so then I figured I'd come back to it this week. No luck yesterday. Checked every single number file. Finally today I created pivot tables to compare the pivot table totals and subtotals from the data to the reports I couldn't get to tie. And guess what?! I found the mistake.. the person who created the report forgot to drag the formula down the column. jaja after 4 days of looking at this file the most stupid error ever.. I was so annoyed at the person jeje

    NASBA:

Ethics Video Award winners have been announced! Congrats to “The Confession,” one of the 3 winning videos! https://ow.ly/4oGTL

lol….thank you for the announcement, NASBA. Please keep us updated on CPE sponsors and ethics awards. If you have time, please announce any score releases too, but make sure you have your priorities set.

@jdiiorio – try “Alt m p” its the hot key for trace precedents. It will show you a lot quicker than pivoting that action up what was missed. My main client uses excel for everything and I have to recalculate and verify their excel files all the time.

    Audit - 11/23/10 - 90
    Financial - 1/4/11 - 88
    Business - 2/28/11 - 86
    Regulation - 4/1/11 - Last one!
