I am quite certain they will release them tonight for many reasons. The most common release pattern in the past has been that a section would be released every other day. They bumped it up to two in a row with REG and AUD last week, and as a result the old Nasba REG scores got delayed by the AUD posting. Old Nasba REG and AUD both got released last night. Now the system is freed up, it makes sense they will release the next section this afternoon. The bulk of the scores will get released tonight, the old NASBA states will get released tomorrow night and stragglers will get reported on Wednesday. Additionally, that gives them an extra day of leeway to meet their stated score release deadlines for everyone.
I do think it's going to be a priority for NASBA to have all scores available online by the 31st, as if they aren't, any candidate who doesn't get their score and is on a tight schedule is going to go crazy. I also think they'd be in breach of contract as they have made promises to paying customers to have all scores out by that date. They could be subject to a class action lawsuit if they don't.
As the AICPA reminded us, this is a “high stakes test.” It has life-changing effects if things don't go as they are supposed to. So if they are late releasing (ie. after their guaranteed release timeframe) and a single candidate can't get their new NTS in time to retake a test, it's going to be a 4th of July of lawsuits and damages I would think. I suspect they would prefer to avoid that.
Fortunately I'm not in that situation, but I feel for anyone who is sweating it out worrying right now.
