@keep trying Wow…your situation sounds a lot like mine. It is hard to find the time and when you do it is hard to focus for very long. People in our position have to really make sure the CPA studying doesn't end up last on the long list of To Do's. I have FAR scheduled for 4/18. I plan to live, eat, and breath studying every free chance I get and see if that changes my result. Smart, successful accountants who don't have the time and energy to study like a crazed fool obviously struggle with this test. I know how difficult it is to be disciplined about this when you are being pulled in several different directions. However, let's focus on knocking the next section out and make it the number one priority (if only for 3 weeks) and pass what we need to pass. Ask your family and friends to step up and stop pulling for a bit. WE CAN DO IT!

    B 5/16 - 68
    A 68, 74, 5/28
    R 60
    F 4/18 - 61

Yea while I was calling to ask I realized that it said “subsequent release” not subsequent window. So I think we are all so nervous and anxious that we are just creating drama and freaking out for no reason.. Subsequent release just means later than the other scores in this case

@keeptrying – Let me know how to get the boys to take over some mom responsibility. I need the help!

@canson – If you see the conversations from the last hour, you'll see that someone contacted NASBA and they were certain that BEC would still be released, just last, as we've seen. I agree that we read too much into that.

    BEC 52, 61, 74, 77
    AUD 80
    REG 75
    FAR 50, 60, 70, 74, 83...DONE!!

@keeptrying, I cannot imagine being a wife, mother and working full-time while studying for these exams. If my plate was that full, I DEFINITELY would not be passing any of my exams. During my study sessions (months/weeks), I make it very clear to my friends and family that studying is my #1 priority so I will NOT commit to any social activities or anything really beyond studying for my exam. I'm not sure how easy that will be for you, but I'm sure your hubby and kiddos will understand after you sit down and share your plan w/them. Maybe bust your butt all week long and then take off Sundays for family time? I know, it's way easier said than done. Instead of going through lectures etc this time around, I say review your notes and do a lot of MCQs (grab the Wiley text if you don't already have it). I don't think the material is that hard so AICPA has to make the questions VERY VERY tricky! I knew the material moreso the first time around than my second time around but their tricky questions got the best of me. When the Yaeger AUD instructor (can't remember his name) said that one simple word can change the entire meaning of the question, he was NOT kidding. The MCQ part of the AUD exam is testing more for reading comprehension than anything in my opinion. As @Becks said, you are seriously 1 MCQ away from passing. Keep your head up and don't give up! πŸ™‚

Becks. In my case, (not an auditor), I used gleim the first time in nov 2010. I did pretty bad in audit planning questions and report questions. Then after I took BEC in feb 1 2011 I studied intensively with Becker for three weeks and did pretty well in AUD the second time in feb 23,2011. I would say knowledge in audit planning and internal control is critical.

    REG 78 aug 2009

    FAR 75 apr 2010

BEC 70 may 2010 retake feb 1, 2011 waiting in PR

    AUD 66 nov 2010 (gleam) 95!!!! Feb 23, 2011 (becker)

Alright, another long time lurker here! I've been around here on and off since I started this whole mess of a process last April πŸ™‚ I've passed AUD and REG and failed BEC with a 72 my first try last fall. Now I am waiting with the rest of you for the results of my 2nd BEC attempt in February. I am scheduled to take FAR for the first time in May, but with all this waiting for scores and planning for my June wedding, I've been slacking pretty bad!

Anyway… I was finally miserable enough with this wait that I felt like I had to join in the conversation with you all! So, hello!

    AUD 73,82
    REG 79
    BEC 72, 74 <---EVIL
    FAR 5/14/11
