If I remember correctly, they have people read/grade them for key points etc.

I think they do look for buzzwords and electronically try to figure out if the written comm has a clear beginning, middle and an end. I think that they may only read a handful of written communications, the rest are all graded the same way like GMAT /GRE.

    AUD 83

    REG 83

    BEC-WAITING

    FAR 5/11

@bammers if they are then I need to just write the buzzwords….lol…in my becker material for BEC i believe one of the instructors said-it doesn't matter if your answer is correct as long as you write it in the correct manner or something a long those lines….i was like i guess if you can BS you can totally get the 15%.

    REG-80, 77, 77
    BEC-67, 68, 71, 67, 71, 74, 71, 74, 72, 77
FAR- 72, 65,67, 53, 75 (truth be known the 53 was with 4 hours of studying)
    AUD-58, 62, 72, 74, 74, 75
took 5 years but I'm DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm getting real mad by each passing second without my REG score. They got my score since last #@%W@ Thursday!!!!!!!!!!!! Even the government works faster than NASBA and the AICPA.

    FAR 88 - BEC 86 - AUD 90 - REG 85

They are not graded for being “right” only for sentence formation, spelling, and proper English.

    Sooo magic probably….

“6. How do you score the written communications responses?

Most responses are scored by a computer grading program, which is calibrated using human scorers. In some cases, responses are scored by a network of human graders (all CPAs). If your score is close to the passing score, your written responses will be automatically re-graded by human graders. When there is more than one grader for a response, the average of the scores is used as the final grade.”

I just got to thinking about it…it would make the most sense for AICPA to release BEC scores today because then that would mean all the slow states would have their score by Thursday, the 31st. How bad is it going to look if some candidates aren't receiving their scores until the beginning of the next testing window?? I say there will def be a score release today.

@herbert7890; do you know that they have your score? I feel like there is a handful of us that got missed somehow for REG scores and I don't know if AICPA has it and hasn't release it or if Missouri got it but the transmission didn't work?

I can't study anymore….it's close to “that” time! Crossing my fingers BEC gets released!

KJC- I have a feeling MO isn't working for REG as well. Candidates from Missouri have already received their Audit scores which were released after REG. I do not know of one candidate from Missouri who has received their REG scores yet.

REG- 73, 80(FINALLY a passing score after a year of studying)
    BEC- 65, 74, 76
    AUD- 75
    FAR - 72, 68, waiting......

    @Herbert- I can't believe you don't have your score yet! How frustrating….

    BEC- 73, 73, 80
    REG- 74, 83
FAR- 50(didn't study), 76 (<--How the heck did that happen?)
    AUD- 71, 71, 79!!!!!
    Finished!!

REG is some kind of tricky for me. I once thought it should be an easy one, coz I took tax and business law courses and got A for all of them. So I didn't spent too much time (about 2 weeks) on it. It turns out I only got 79, which scared me: I almost failed.

I think Becker didn't do a great job on REG.If you have Becker only, be careful. Becker needs to update their REG material.

@keeptrying, I know right! I definitely BS'd on one of the WC which is the one where I put ‘From:' I think. Hopefully they give us all the full 15 points for putting up with their crappy score release process 🙂

@bammers, even the slow states don't have all scores posted for other sections yet. I hope I at least get my mailed result by mid April at this point.
