@ bammers2: I also feel unsure about my BEC score coming out and it will be my last one if I passed. And on the written, I always would sign my name at the end as “sincerely, my name, CPA” πŸ™‚

@neverending, isn't that the truth! I don't understand why they test us on this IT stuff either. I mean, I understand the importance of different computer methods/software for audits but that should be covered in AUD and not BEC. I don't think we need to know the different parts that make up the CPU or whatever it's called. It's almost like they throw this unimportant subject matter in there with the sole purpose of making it a little more difficult to pass BEC.

@bammers2 I really don't remember how I felt when I left the testing center after taking BEC because it feels AGES ago LOL…..I really hope they release BEC today. I signed my memos with “My Name, CPA” When I signed it like that it almost motivated me to continue on this beastly process because my ultimate goal is to REALLY have those letters behind my name. I felt it was very motivating!

Yeah, I feel unsure about BEC as well. I feel like there are always those IT questions that come out of nowhere and you have no idea what they mean. I think the written part was ok to answer it is just going to depend on how they decide to grade the 3 memos and if they are REALLY going to be 15% of the grade.

    FAR - TBD
    AUD - 72, 72, 89
    REG - 80
    BEC - 58, 66, 70, 74, 74

@bammers2, I didn't sign the memo because I was afraid the computer would spellcheck my name and count it wrong.

I also thought I did really bad on BEC. I got some questions wrong that I knew, so I can imagine what all I got wrong I guessed at.

When I looked up some questions, I couldn't find the answers either. The new corporate governance questions really threw me for a loop.

Let's just rip the Band-Aid, AICPA. I need to move on.

I think I signed it ‘sincerely, cpa candidate' on at least 2 of the 3 WC. And then on one (gulp), at the top of the memo I wrote ‘From: CPA Candidate' because in a lot of memos, you have the TO, SUBJECT, DATE and FROM info at the top of the memo.

@plspray, thanks and please keep your toes crossed as well πŸ˜‰

I hope I'm wrong about my gut feeling, but I guess it's not the end of the world if I have to retake it…I should be thankful that it's my last & only one.

@till-death, I felt the same way about the IT questions, so I just made an educated guess and moved on. Hopefully I guessed right!

@wishful, nope my initials are BAM. I'm from TX but live in CO.

@Charlie, I don't think I used my real name either and instead used ‘cpa candidate'.

I reeeeeaaaallly hope scores are released today and NASBA's site does NOT go down either.

@charlie………You're not kidding about those stupid corporate governance questions. I looked at everyone I could find (BISK, WILEY AND GLEIM) and still had no idea what they were asking for on that test. BEC is so all over the place that I find it hard to change my focus from one topic to another. Asking about the laws of supply and demand, then net present value followed by what is random access memory. It makes it hard for me to focus and catch any kind of groove while I'm studying.

Some people are real jerks at the TSBPA – some of them are nice – but not the hole of an ass that I just spoke to

I seriously wish NASBA would update their dang website with the current information already. I checked about a dozen different states and the ALL say that score reports are only generated and sent via US Mail and “scores are not sent to candidates via email at this time.” Some of those states DO have emailed scores according to people on this board. How many problems would NASBA solve for itself if it just had correct/updated information posted online!?

    AUD - 92
    FAR - 73, 82
    REG - 72, 82
