@MM23 I was looking at the Wiley books and thought that might work, thanks for the suggestion!

@rstanton3582 thanks for the insight it might be worth it to try Yaeger since I don't seem to be getting it from Becker!

Hi all. I am an IN candidate and was waiting on AUD this weekend. I have passed all other sections and needed to pass AUD this time around or else I would lose REG. I got a 74 on AUD. Pretty frustrated at this point. Was wondering if anyone has ever challenged the grading with any success? I've heard that it is a waste of money as no one has received any additional points. Thought it might be worth a shot since I am 1 point away from being done. Any help anyone could give me would be appreciated.

I say BEC today. Does that mean anything? No. 😉

I think the delay might be due to the fact that they didn't want to release that much onto the server at once. It could be a possibility that BEC will be released to day!

    FAR - TBD
    AUD - 72, 72, 89
    REG - 80
    BEC - 58, 66, 70, 74, 74

Just thought to add my experience with Reg test.

I also passed the other three sections at first try. Reg is the last section I took and I spent two months preparing for the exam.

Reg is a very hard exam especially for me who has no tax background and I did not even take any tax classes except some advanced class to graduate. I knew that Reg would be a hard test for me, so I bought extra study material besides Becker. I also used Wiley books and Wiley testbank CD.

For the other three sections, I spent 5 weeks for each section, but for reg, I spent whole 8 weeks studying day and night. Every day I probably spent more than 8 hours studying. For the one week before the exam, I did nothing, just study and one day I could study 15 hours a day. I did more than 10 times the multiple choice questions for each chapter and three times the multiple choice questions on the wiley book. I spent a lot of time doing the simulation questions on the wiley books. Even though none of the simulation questions are similar on the real exam for me, at least I grasped the fundamental knowledge of the material and be able to use the knowledge to do the real simulation in the exam.

To write notes is very important to pass this exam. For each chapter, I wrote notes . for every MC questions, when I made a mistake, there are explanations for it and I wrote it down in my notebook. I review the notebook whenever I have time. The notes you wrote down are the tricky questions that can easily fool us, so review it often will help us memorize the rules and why we made the mistake in the first place.

All the materials on the book are equally important to pass the exam. Some people may say tax is the focus, but every little detail of the law part are also important. Just spend as much time as possible in preparing for the exam, you can do it.

@rstanton3582. I just feel like there was something I could've studied harder. Hopefully next time I will do better.

Texas AUD folks – Although I knew the answer, I called TSBPA anyway and the lady said that since they got them friday, they would upload them today and they'd be available for viewing tomorrow morning (after 4am). Nothing new.

I'll be setting my alarm for 4am and F5ing until I find out if I'm done. My husband is already nervous about the scream that's going to wake him up one way or another.

@crazy…i feel u…to be honest there is always something i feel like i could have studied better…also this is ur first test..i think for me getting that out the way understanding the format and seeing how they actually asked questions helped me to study the 2nd time…I mean i had practice questions but having exam questions help me to study for the CPA and not just to study…IDK if that makes sense..

But i approach studying a little different..it was not like studying in school…

    AUD - 74, 82 | REG - 82 | FAR - 76 |Ethics -98
    BEC - 71, 68, 81 (FINALLY DONE!!!!)

@ MaybeToday-I am so sorry! That must be really hard. A pretty similar scenario happened to a good friend of mine and she actually took a nice long break from studying because it is so unbelievably hard to face studying for a test you already passed. Maybe treat yourself to a mini vacation too and then start again….and finish strong! Good luck to you and to all fellow cpa-ers waiting for forever for our grades. ahhh. unbearable.

Seriously, this wait is killing me. I seated in Puerto Rico, an old NASBA State. Has anyone received AUD or BEC in Puerto Rico????? I took BEC on Feb. 1 and AUD on FEB 23. Neither of those two scores are posted in the NASBA score page. I am tired of checking with my heart beating so fast and then I receive the error message. I have dreamed with the scores like times during the last two weeks. In all of them I passed!!!. I pray my dreams come true.

I have to pass the two part because if not, I will have to retake Regulation, which I passed in August 29, 2009 and expired March 1st 2011. At 43 with two kids and a job, I don,t know if I can take it anymore. But let's hope my three dreams come true. I praise the Lord for it.

REG 78 firt time Aug 2009

    FAR 75 yes!!! April 2010

    BEC 70 no!!!! May 2010 Feb 1, 2011 441

    AUD 66 it hurts! NOV 2010 Feb 23 2011 444

Haha, I started having dreams about scores this weekend as well. I dreamed I was checking online for my REG score. I got like a 55, then I hit refresh and it changed, so I kept hitting refresh and every damn time a different score would show up. HORRIBLE!

    AUD - 92
    FAR - 73, 82
    REG - 72, 82
    BEC - 84 DONE!!!!!! 🙂
