    @kjc3368: I don't remember if I did anything different to get my results e-mailed for this section. Here's what the e-mail said: “Your score notice is sent based on your contact preference. Your contact preference is email.”

    This wait is terrible. I took BEC on January 10th and there is no end in sight to my waiting!!!! (I am in NC, a snail mail state). This is the first section I have sat for. I can only imagine the anguish of others nearing the end of their 18 month window waiting several months to receive scores. This is completely ridiculous. I am hearing from friends in NC that the turnaround time for actually receiving the scores in the mail is such that it may be almost May by the time I get my score. Whatever.

    Looking for objective help. I have passed three sections the first time with Becker, and failed REG twice with Becker. (74, 67, WTF) Is Yaeger really that different? Will it really help? Or should I just suck it up and study more? (Was putting in 30+ hours a week for 6 weeks, not really sure how to study more! Need better!) Anyone have a good comparison between the two programs?

    IL score for AUD received this morning – 70 – first try so I am hopeful for the next one.

    Just got my score. My first test and I get a 74 on AUD. I would much rather get a 50. This is so depressing.

    Mattswop- what state are you registered in?

    REG- 73, 80(FINALLY a passing score after a year of studying)
    BEC- 65, 74, 76
    AUD- 75
    FAR - 72, 68, waiting......

    Found out my score over the weekend and glad that I passed!! I had to go back and check several times over the weekend to make sure that I wasn't reading it wrong.lol

    Just wanted to thank Jeff for this forum as a great source for CPA information and venting in general. This is a great place for all of us who are at some point in the same boat with one another to get together and get through this process where others won't understand to a slightest bit without going through it. Thank you and good luck to you all! :):):)

    @crazy1….yes 74 are hard to take…a…my first test was AUD and I got a 74 and I felt the same way….but just sulk for a little while (but not to long) and come back with a vegenance..you will get it

    It's helping me through the exams, i have an older version of Becker so i'm using Wiley to supplement. It does a good job with IFRS and and has a lot of MCQ/TBS and most importantly for me its cheap. so if you have the time to go through even the MCQ grab the book.

    I only used Becker and passed. you've been very close so that extra push will help you get over the hump IMO. i say go over Becker and make flashcards of all the mnemonics and make notes on MCQ questions that you got wrong and go through it over and over again. also try the Wiley book to supplement as opposed to a full blown course, but if cost is not an issue then i say go for it.

    This may sound strange and even maybe unbelievable but I have failed two sections so far and didn't feel the least bit depressed. I have seen a good amount of very intelligent people have a very difficult time with this test and seeing them struggle makes me feel at ease when I miss it by just a few points. In my mind I made a 70 or higher which is still a passing grade in college 🙂

    I have been getting nervous about this score release just because it was taken a while and everybody has been asking about my grade. I would like to pass one on the pure basis I am not made of money and have to put these tests on my credit card every time.

    Hey everyone,

    It's just my opinion that BEC won't come out today (even though I desperately want it to). I can't imagine that another 5.5 hours of a work day would be enough for them to finish, otherwise they would have released it on Friday. I think we should all be prepared for a Tuesday/Wednesday type situation. I just don't think they are that close with BEC and we KNOW that they didn't work over the weekend.

    Hopefully I'm wrong. And by they way, just a note that while there may be some correlation between delayed scores and borderline passing, it's not always the case. My scores were released very slowly last window and I did fine, so chin up!
