To those who are worrying about losing sections due to the 18-month window: I would suggest trying to take as many exams as often as you can once you past the first exam. This does not mean that you should take 4 exams per window, but once you pass one, there's no reason that you should be taking fewer than 2 per subsequent window, and maybe even tripling up if any of those include failed sections. You have 6 windows to pass 3 sections, (7 really, because you can take a test in the 7th window as long as it is not past the 18 month mark). If you can't pass a section after 7 attempts, it might be time to pack it in … just saying.
I'm not really trying to be rude, I'm just saying that the 18-month rolling window should not looked at as an ultimate barrier, and really doesn't affect too many people.
