@MM23 I actually failed REG. I haven't passed one yet so I'm not sure if I have the greatest advice. I'm using Becker, I'm going to re-read each chapter once, read Jeffs notes, flash cards, then bang out as many MCQ I can until I get sick. I was scoring poorly on the Becker final review simulated exams-which I think means I really was not ready to sit for the actual exam. This time around I need to be scoring higher on the practice exams before I go in for the actual! Do you have a method of madness this time around?
Has anyone checked their oasis? Mine was updated 3/26 and still no score in MO… I do not think that I passed because I checked the loophole. I will be really mad if I get a 74!!
I just called OAB and talked to Sharon and She told me that OAB does not have to do any procedure to get score posted, that is done directly from NASBA. I asked again ” so there is not some type of download/upload that oAB has to do it?” and she told me NO again/
@okc_9896: They say all the time that it is automatically uploaded then why 2 windows ago, when they had technical problems she was able to get my score posted by fixing that problem. She didn't believe that there was something wrong until I called NASBA and confirmed that my score had been released and that it was something wrong on the OAB side. We can't do that now because NASBA won't confirm if individual scores have been released and NASBA always says that they do not upload the scores to OAB website and that they have nothing to do with that. If you have the time you can call NASBA, I would like to hear what they say and see if they blame it in OAB, since OAB blamed it on them.
I dont know, Before I used to think that OAB had to do something before get posted but this person (I think SHe is the exam coordinator at OAB) made me believe that they really dont do anything.
So I am thinking that We should start calling NASBA and ask for Oklahoma rep and ask and see what they say about our scores.
don't worry about the practice exams from Becker, apparently your supposed to add 10-15% on top of what you get on those because they are harder than the actual exam itself or so I've read…
this time around i'm going to read the notes for each chapter, do all the mcq and sims from becker and wiley and focus in on Simulations and once i'm done, REPEAT till exam day. Also focus in on the new IFRS stuff, have a feeling i'll get more questions this time around. Thought of getting roger, but the price is not within my budget.
@MM23 do you find the wileyMCQ helpful? I've thought about purchasing those as well. Honestly my biggest problem is I'm horrible with MCQ. I feel like I really know the material, but then throw a hard MCQ at me and I turn to stone…
This wait for BEC will actually kill me today!! I am actually praying every two hours that BEC releases today !!! …my boss is also in a super bad mood today so that doesn’t help!! I am also having these crazy visions that they will release BEC after the next testing window… … uuuuggghhh !!
I would like to think that OAB is doing everything that they can, but I don't believe half the stuff that comes out of there mouths because I have caught them on a couple of lies that cost me 2 weeks of wait time and when I told them about it they said “would you like me to help you or not.” There customer service is terrible and they know they are the only ones that can get us what we need so they hold that over our heads at all costs.
I've heard someone say that 11% of REG hasn't been released, but what is the chance that the 3 people on here that are waiting for REG are all from OK. I also have a low NTS (425) so that means that there is no way they released by NTS if mine hasn't been released and that is how people seem to think they are released.
