@TooBig…I still have AUD. But thanks!

@HowBoutNow, bummer. Sorry to hear that. I used Becker 2011. I wrote out some notes, I can scan them and email them to you.

@Rutherford, hope you got your score.

    AUD (11) & FAR (10) = 89
    BEC (10) & REG (11) = 78

@HowBoutNow – I am so sorry you didn't clear REG this time! I cleared it this window using Becker. I'm really sad you will suffer the rest of this week-end until you can re-register and get energized again.

Done with FAR, AUD, REG, BEC. Today, March 29, I will remember you forever!!

@Tex -I mean we are just trying to be realistic. I'm not going to get anything meaningful accomplished these last few days until my mind is cleared of the final section. It would be vain and foolhardy to pretend like we're going to do anything huge in these last few days. I have planned a bunch of busy-work for myself on Monday so I can still get some relatively menial work done but nothing highly complex, since I know my mind will be elsewhere. This is similar to when we are waiting for serious medical test results — in my experience, I just have to disassociate (mentally) in order to make it through one day at a time. And no matter how bad the results, life still keeps going on day after day. I remember one morning some years ago waking up and being surprised that the world was still turning (it was related to something else in life, not to failing the CPA exam, which I had also done that year!). And now that year of horror is like a distant memory to me… Life really can go on.

    @Curse AUD, @CPAGreen, @MI-CPA,

Congratulations on passing AUD!!!! I know how it feels!

I also found out I passed Aud this morning and I couldn't stop crying of joy.

I thought the whole time I failed it, but somehow I managed to get a 79.

@macha1909 used CPAExcel for both FAR and AUD. I went through each lesson- read, took handwritten notes, then watched the lectures, then did the proficiency (mostly true/false) questions, then the MCQs before moving onto the next section. I did this for all of the sections- then i would also go back every couple of weeks and do MCQ's for previous sections just to make sure it was all still fresh. I made my plan so that I had at least 1 week before to just do MCQ's and practice tests. When I got things wrong, I jotted the concepts down and went back and restudied those sections and made flashcards for the tougher concepts that I couldn't seem to remember or grasp. I carried my flashcards with me everywhere and looked at them as often as I could. I think, for me, the act of writing things out by hand helps me to retain the information. I also had to read out loud to myself because I remember things I say and hear and do more than things I read. Figure out how you learn (there are online tests you can take to find out your learning style) and then you can figure out what's the best way. I don't have notes because they're mostly just scribbles in a notebook….I will vouch for CPA excel though. It's 1/2 the price of Becker and they have “bite sized” lessons so you're not overwhelmed with these huge lessons.

I figured you lived close when you said you tested in Auburn Hills. The Becker materials was it a book and software?

I just found this forum & I love that you are all going through this process together! I've been at it way too long (was 3/4 there on paper) & hoping to find inspiration to finish! After a 2 year break I came back more than a year ago.. I took FAR 68 & BEC 71 in Q4. REG & AUD in Q1.

After back-to-back 71's in REG in 2010, I scored so low this window that I am too embarassed to say πŸ™ Got my score yesterday morning & spent the last 24 hours deciding whether to throw in the towel.

This morning, I received my AUD score & passed with a 79!! Which is odd because I left the exam with an hour & a half left & was sure that I had missed something to have that much time leftover.

Looking forward to getting to know some of you! Congrats to all who have passed!

I passed REG with Becker 2009 in mid 2010. Becker seemed to do the job. Not so much with AUD. I am going to try to use the Wiley Testbank along with my Becker Final Review for FAR and AUD. Just need 2 more points in FAR and A LOT MORE in AUD.

    BEC - 75(expired), 79
    REG - 63, 54, 61, 69 (Gave up for a year. Finally decided to really study) 73, 78
    FAR - 70, 71, 73, 83
    AUD - 61, 72, 72, 76
