I just checked out their Twitter for the first time as that is the one social media platform that I do not use …. Man, people are definitely expressing their feelings on the score release process on Twitter in the replies section.

@SBNY2K17 my thought is that it will be earlier than Thursday.. they have had so much time to score the thing! Maybe that's wishful thinking but we'll see

I can't concentrate at work today. I should have booked a trip to Cabo this week. That would make this week fly by like crazy.

I wish there were some news source streaming coverage of score release 24/7 like the major news networks cover big events, even just finding new ways to regurgitate absolutely nothing.

I actually haven't been too worried about the score release after the first few days, yes I didn't feel too good, but I have a lot of faith I passed, and if I didn't oh well, I'll definitely pass the second time. I feel at peace regarding this score release.

It also helps to find natural ways to take your mind off, I've been doing more Church activities and hanging out with my wife now that I'm not studying, turns out my wife is pretty cool and I like her a lot. Also, sometimes there are just things that take your mind away from the score release, like when rats decide your hours is a great nesting spot and you're at work while your wife is home and she's sending you videos of a huge rat you caught in a rat trap but it's still moving around and breathing. That definitely has been taking my mind off of the score release! So maybe if you want to get your mind off of the scores, put some cat food and peanut butter underneath your house to attract rats to live there, that'll put your mind on other things.

@Nate LOL hope you can get rid of the rats

As the wheels have been turning approaching score release I've been thinking… My sister is a nurse and when she took her state boards she immediately got a printout saying whether she “probably passed” or “probably failed”, then got her official score a couple weeks later. I realize it's probably a wildly different type of exam, but that seems like a really reasonable thing to do, especially with so much of the CPA being (seemingly) objective. Then at least we would have an idea of whether to keep studying for WEEKS or move on to the next section in the meantime. UGHhhhh

Anyway. I'm off to get myself another email from NASBA telling me I logged in for no reason.

@itooshallpass LOL at the login emails. I agree with ya'll and Nate – you have a great mindset and I love the verse in your signature. Good Luck to All. Hoping to end this long journey this week. Prayers

Well, I thought I was going to be ok and stay sane, however the nightmares started last night regarding score release. After having a nightmare of checking scores and bombing both tests, I woke up and had to login just to make sure it was actually a dream… Two more days….

@ThePeople'sChamp – I really never feel that great about the exam, even when I pass. I feel pretty confident about the SIMs, but the MCQ usually decrease my confidence (but with the test being progressive, that's not really a surprise). For studying I did videos through Roger and then did MCQs with NINJA.

New grading scale: See how many times a candidate logs in leading up to the score release to determine who has too much time on their hands that could be better spent studying.

They said they don't weight or curve the score, so why they cannot give us the scores once we finish the exam?

@JJX Where did you hear they don't weigh or curve the scores? Yes they don't curve, but they say a score of 75 or more implies you have the knowledge to be a CPA in that area, or something like that. I feel like if they don't adjust scores for REG this quarter they'll have a 10% pass rate, and that will be a very bad look for them. From what I do know, they do adjust scores a bit depending on how difficult the exam was and results.
