@mand23 – I studied using Becker for 20 – 30 hrs per week for about 2 months the first time and 6 weeks the second time. I think I am not grasping certain topics, like business combinations and eliminating JEs and some aspects of bonds. I just don't know how I can get a good grasp on these concepts. I never had a problem grasping concepts in high school nor college. I never failed a class in my life until the CPA. I always had an above 3.5 GPA. I never had to study hard before, I just don't know what I' doing wrong. I passed AUD, REG and BEC, but FAR is so hard for me.

For people who's pages are lagging–

you can tell when a new page has started if the last post on your current page is not the same person who's the latest reply came from (at the top of the page it says latest reply from.. ) when you know a new page should have started but don't see a link, just go to your web address window (whatever its called, place where you type a url) and just change the page number to whatever page should come next.

for example – change manually from:

to this

I doubt they will release any more scores tonight. NASBA tweeted that they did not receive any more news. My understanding that means no more scores for us. The wait is terrible but at least I'm not alone.

I am one of those people who really thinks Becker is a waste of money. $3,400? Really?

Two people in my office bought the Becker stuff. Neither have yet finished, and both have had their Becker expire. So they spent all that money and now they don't even have updated materials any more.

I had some Gleim books, software and audio I bought in 2006 when I originally started the process ($600). I supplemented this with the updated Wiley books, A71 materials and some Yaeger videos (total cost about $350). And all the sections I studied all the material I passed. There were a couple sections where I didn't study all the chapters in Wiley and didn't pass.

4 years later I was still able to use the Gleim software, although only the sections that didn't change (which was quite a bit, actually, other than REG).

My top two suggestions for people would be Gleim complete system (if you study well by reading) or Yaeger CRAMs (if you need the video for variety). I think those two give you the best bang for your buck.
