@Celeste – lol that's too funny – I had a similar dream. I had a dream that I got an 89 on REG (only in my dreams!), then I dreamt that I woke up and checked it again and I still had an 89! Then I really woke up, and of course my score hadn't been released yet. I subconciously tricked myself.

    FAR: 71, 77
    BEC: 70, 82
    AUD: 62, 78
    REG: 71, 68, 85

So, just to set up my story, back in Feb when I took REG I walked out feeling like I could just scream because there was no way I could have passed that test. Then, I found out that I passed. A few weeks ago, however, I walked out of FAR feeling…okay. I did not think the material was overwhelmingly hard, but do recall more than a few questions that I was uncertain about. My question is was REG just that hard? Or is it more likely that I was just given easy/medium testlets all the way through indicating the that I probably failed FAR. For those of you who have taken and received your scores for FAR and REG, would you say that there was a noticeable level of difficulty between the two?

    R- 2/9/11- 92
    F-4/25/11- 85
    A-5/31/11- 98

I definately felt that REG was harder than AUD. Of course, I probably just jinxed myself, since I have not received my scores, yet. We'll see though. I commend you for doing two parts in the same window, as I could not do it. I hope that it works for you!

    REG - 91
    AUD - 92
    FAR - 88

@La Conquistadora, I felt the same way with REG. I was just smh the whole exam. I can not speak for FAR, but REG was significantly harder than BEC or AUD. I felt the worst coming out of REG and ended up getting my highest score.

Were the questions relatively short for FAR? For myy REG exam, most of my questions were relatively short and I was not able to tell if the testlets were getting harder. This scared me and was so mad when I got done. I felt like I knew the info well enough that if I just went right back in there with another test I would have passed. I dont know what happened, but I guess I did alright. What programs did you use to prepare?

@danatwvu, Most of my questions were shorter, though I really have no idea if the material was getting harder. If anything it was just a mix of different levels of questions throughout. Oh well, I guess all I can do is hope for the best.

I have been using CPAexcel, and so far I have been pleased with it. It breaks the lessons up into short 30 minute sections which reinforces the fact that I am making progress as I study (and I need that encouragement) . I have not talked to anyone else that has used this program though, so although it was enough to help me pass on REG, I am not sure if it will be effective in the other areas. For instance, there have been some parts as I study for AUD that I wish I had kept my textbooks from school just for clarification.

@ La Conquistadora – I am also using CPAexcel. I used to to pass BEC (old format) and hopefully REG. I'm now using it for AUD. I have found a couple situations where I have needed to pull out my Wiley book for clarification.

    BEC: 70, 82
    AUD: 62, 78
    REG: 71, 68, 85

For some good reading, feel free to check out the NASBA facebook page. Some person posted on the wall about committing a felony as well as recently getting a DUI and she wants to know how this will affect her CPA status as she just passed all (4) parts. Do people really think before they post something like that on facebook for the world to see?

Is just me, or May have been the longer month ever!!! I can't believe we need to wait 3-4 weeks more. This will be an eternity for me, checking my score daily to see if a miracle happens and of course I'm praying for two miracles 1st rapid release scores and 2nd a 75 on Far. Maybe too much to ask? Ok then, I will be happy with the 75 !

I took my REG exam which is my last exam on April 1st….That was 2 days short of 8 weeks ago! I have been waiting for this score for 2 months already and one more month to go….and on top of that I have a promotion that is riding on a passing score. I could not be more fed up and sick of this disgusting grading and score release process. It is down right nor fair to give us no transparency into what is going on for 10-11 weeks after the exam. No excuses for that.

    Audit - 11/23/10 - 90
    Financial - 1/4/11 - 88

@TowsonCPA – Hear, hear! I couldn't agree more. But in another light, at least we get a few more weeks of relaxation/anxiety attacks to look forward to.

Towson last window I sat on Jan 11 and got my results 12 weeks later. It was TORTURE so I feel for you. I decided then for the 2 exams I needed to retake, that I would take them on the last possible date available for each window. I figure I am going to spend 7-8 of those weeks either studying or waiting and I'd rather feel productive. I'm taking AUD next window and hoping to sit on the last possible day of August.

    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
