@CPAchic3:You scare me so much. Currently I am reviewing BEC for the test in July 5th. Do you have any tips for me? I have a big headache for the “Hedging and Derivative”. Any advice? Is it useful to do a lot of MCs as practices since I found it was really hard to memorize all definitions?
I am also waiting for the final results of AUD and FAR. And hope everything get through as what I expected and then I could finish all my CPA exam before September. Right now my only relax time is Friday night to play cards with my friends. It's really a torture to stay at home and study, study, study……I need some fresh air!
Ugh!! I have to go now and study for REG. I took a day off today from work and I'm using the day off to stress over my FAR and AUD scores and to study for REG. I have to put in about 4 hours of studying today, so I need to get this score release out of my mind. My life is miserable right now!!
@cathyzq Sorry for the scare. I think BEC is just such a random exam and some questions I had on my exams were not in any review material. I used Becker to prepare for most of the exams. The last one I just took, I purchased the Yaegar Homestudy course and went through all the lectures and questions in the Wiley book. I am not sure if this was what I needed or not but can tell you once my score comes out. I think for me it is just a matter of understanding the material as opposed to memorizing the material. If you can comprehend the purpose of why you are doing the calculations that will increase your chance of passing for sure. I think this part is so boring for me as well since I am not big on economics, don't really understand the IT stuff (as I'm not an IT major) and hate cost accounting… Not sure if this helps! Good luck to you!
@AAA Its even more annoying when you are stuck at work in front of your computer all day and can so easily keeping checking this site for any glimpse of hope that they might be coming out. I like the weekends much better!
So I took AUD on 4/1 and REG on 5/28 and this delay is killing me! Even worse, I will get my REGscore before my AUD. I actually think I have a shot at passing AUD but know I did not pass REG. Those sims were killer!!
lol, I am moving in two weeks and starting a job in 3 so I won't even have time to start studying if I don't pass. The 18 month limitation is honestly the worse part of the whole CPA exam experience. I think the main stress originates from there.
@CPAChic3, I saw your scores for BEC and wanted to let you know you're not alone. Hang in there! I took BEC 7 times as well and finally passed this January. 47, 56, 68, 70, 71, 74, 80.
Starting fresh in 2010 w/Becker!
BEC: 74,80 (expired), 78 - FAR: 64, 60, 74, 68, 76 - REG: 70,60,75 - AUD: 74,78
Can't change the past but I CAN make the future.
DONE - 6/8/13. After 6 LONG YEARS.
@hopingfora75 i feel you. my life has been on hold for the better part of a few years because of this thing, but I realize that's not possible for most people.
