Thanks for the help!!! I guess I should just get back to studying for REG and worry about that first. I guess the Ethics course isn't that time consuming and difficult???

@hurry-up-in-wait–the Ethics course when I took it was the fall semester of 2006 and it was nothing but people with Bachelors degrees and Graduate degrees bc we all lacked the requirement. Now I'm assuming you will have all kinds of people in the class. It was an easy course…well anything is easy after these exams!!

@Erin — I scheduled mine today too…I have Aud on May 10th and BEC on May 31st…not much time in between but since i have REG on April 20th it's what I had to do…I can't waste this testing window without taking all three honestly!

hi everyone! i took FAR in February and failed with a 65 … not all that surprising because I barely, I mean barely, studied. I've passed the other 3 parts but, as BEC expires for me on April 30th, I figured I would take FAR and see what happened. So now I have 25 days to study and sit for FAR again before April 30th. I purchased the Yaeger study materials and started studying just this past weekend. I know it's a stretch but I've put together a pretty intense study schedule and think I can pull it off. Am I being too optimistic? Has anyone on here studied for FAR in just 4 weeks?

@isitoveryet-i did but it was my full-time job. I took Far after studying for 26 days…mind you this was in Nov 2010 and so it was before the changes for IFRS and I had a written communication. I'm not sure how much that helps you but keep a positive attitude….seriously it makes a world of difference when you study.

A girl I work with was complaining because she has to go get groceries after work before going home. I thought to myself, “I would kill to be able to go get groceries then go home instead of sitting here at work and studying for three more hours”. =)

@ Hurry-Up-N-Wait- I thought I was the only one that stayed late to study at work. I long for the day to go home and cook a meal instead of eating fast food all the time.

I figured between now and the end of June 2011 I will either be (a) studying or (b) waiting for results. To give myself the maximum study time and minimum wait time I got the last POSSIBLE date/time available–May 23 9am will be REG.

Will retake AUD during the 3rd testing window.

Hopefully after August all but Ethics will be behind me. (Anyone able to enlighten me on how that works in MA?)

@DestinedCPA – oh I get my BEST studying done after work. I have a hubby and kid at home so that's not an option. =) And I wish I were but I'm just not one of those people who can put the kid to bed and then study from 8-11 at night. I am just too lazy. I've got everything I need here at work for a perfect study environment.

I hear ya about the fast food! I order a pizza every Saturday and have the leftovers while I'm studying on Sunday. I have NO idea why I've gained 13 pounds!!! =)
