AnonymousInactiveBecker does the same thing (well at least in their live courses) it seems like they communicate every question is worth a point…I dunno how accurate that is either.
@ ErinBrookeTX –
I couldn't have said it better myself. I too have a birthday coming up in July and I would LOVE to have a birthday where my head isn't stuck in a book!! I don't care when scores come out….ONLY if I get 75+. If it's below 75, then I hope they get scores released ASAP and not a minute later! π

fellerbopParticipantCan someone please explain how test expiration works? If the first test I passed expires October 2011, does that mean I have to sit for my last passing exam by the end of October, or do I have to receive my last passing score by October? In other words, does the wait for score release affect expiration? I'm trying to figure out how many more (if any!) testing window chances I have to wrap up the beast that is REG.
AUD (4/20/10) – 88
FAR (10/6/10) – 75
BEC (11/23/10) – 79
June 13, 2011 at 7:12 pm #283397
magsterParticipantThe date you take the test is used for calculation – not when you receive the score.
REG - Passed
FAR - Passed
BEC - Passed
AUD - 2-25-12 PASSED - DONE !!!!!!!! WOOHOO*** One day I will get my life back.... maybe today is the day ***

You Can Do ItParticipant@ peanut… 3 in one window wasn't too bad but I will clarify; For BEC and FAR it was my first try but for AUD it was the third try. So 3 in 1 window isn't so impressive with that additional nugget of info! I have my fingers crossed that I passed BEC and AUD but I don't think I passed FAR. However, I'm like everyone else – – hesitant to predict because I'm sure I will be wrong! Good luck and here is hoping that scores miraculously come out this week.
B 5/16 - 68
A 68, 74, 5/28
R 60
F 4/18 - 61June 13, 2011 at 8:38 pm #283400
kandisjoyParticipant@Peanut – It all depends on how much time you have. Calculate out how many hours you think you will need per section, add them all up, and try to write out your study schedule. Make sure you give yourself a few “missed study days” for things that come up. If you can write out the schedule and are very dedicated, you can do it. If not, I'd say just take 1 or 2 sections and get it passed the first time around.

IwannaBaCPAParticipantHearing everyone talk about how they can't stay motivated to study is really hitting home for me. I am waiting on my first 2 scores, BEC and FAR and I feel terrible about both π I just can't make myself get it together to study for AUD…
And I am so sick of everyone asking me if I got my scores yet! And when I say I am prepared for the worst I get “what are you worried about, you are smart!” How annoying! This exam has very little to do with smarts!!
Ok, back to my half-hearted attempt at studying…
BEC: 79 - April 2011
FAR: 78 - May 2011
AUD: 81 - May 2012

I am finally DONE!June 13, 2011 at 8:48 pm #283402
kandisjoyParticipant@IwannaBaCPA – You are not alone. We all hear those comments. I just heard one about 45 minutes ago – “Well I'm sure you passed.” It's like, how can you be sure? Because I sure as hell am not sure!
Hang in there. Just because you feel terrible about your exams doesn't mean you didn't pass. I think that's pretty typical for your first exam. And the rest, for that matter. For both exams that I passed, I came out of the testing center with tears in my eyes. Keep up hope and study study study! π

To be completely honest – I have no idea. π I will say this much though – those questions on AUD are vague, ambiguous, and very poorly worded so the best practice on that section is just to do as many multiple choice questions as humanly possible! Definitely also know the standard unqualified opinion like it is the pledge of allegiance! Be familiar with when wording changes in reports as well.
I didn't feel any different when I left the testing center when I scored 91 from when I scored 74…just goes to show you that you never know how the exam really went.
I personally think it was the visit I made to the Cheesecake Factory before I left town that made the score. π

I hate FARMemberI've been reading this forum religiously for weeks hoping someone would post how excited they are to finally have their scores. Ughhhh I can't wait any longer! My birthday is on Wednesday and I was really hoping to have a nice gift from NASBA!
OH and the person inquiring about Gleim, I really like their review materials.
