Has anyone tried to reapply for a recently failed part this testing window? I tried twice but my last examination application status says “submitted” and when I try to pay for audit it says n/a. I read the re-examination info and it looks like we can't retake in the same testing window. What is the point of the new early score release then?? FRUSTRATED.

Ok, I need someone to give me a pep talk before I throw in the towel…Can I keep going? Should I keep going? 5 kids, new job, going through a divorce, CPA exam…I'm starting to get tired and wonder if I will ever pass this test! I just took FAR today and feel really rotten about it. Aarrgghh!

@jmk: I am still an undergrad student and regularly complain about how much of a struggle the CPA is for me. I applaud you for even attempting the exam at this point. I seriously could not even imagine how difficult it must be for you with all those things going on in your life.

I am in no place to lecture, however, I think that if you don't do it now, then you will never get back around to passing the exam. It would definitely help if you got your kids in on everything (assuming you have some that aren't too young) to help you be able to spend the right time studying. Either you can spend another year or two spending a fair amount of time studying and risk not passing a few parts, OR you could really truly devote yourself to the exam for a year and spend as much time as possible on it while giving your kids (unfortunately) just whatever you can spare. At least this way, after you pass you can move on, otherwise you'll just be stuck spending loads of time studying repeatedly with nothing to show.

Just my opinion anyway.. best of luck!

Does anyone in TX know if they will update scores when they do their 12-4am system update? I'm not sure if they normally put up scores at this time or if they do it later in the morning/day. Waiting all weekend has been horrible.

Just finished my last studying for REG tonight. Headed to bed. I can't decide if I want to check for my score on FAR before I head out for the test in the morning. If I pass, I'm going to feel great headed out to the next test but If I fail 🙁 🙁 🙁
