Dan82: yeah, my life really sucks right now. Was hoping to be celebrating on this lovely Friday night but instead I will probably just drown my sorrows…. well, I guess I was going to be drinking either way then! Ha!

@rmm9109: I'm not sure what review you have been using, but I used Becker and found it to be very thorough (probably over kill). It goes into significant detail on everything that might be tested.

    BEC 86 (08/30/11)
    FAR 84 (10/13/11)
    REG 88 (11/08/11)
    AUD 86 (11/29/11)

Sh*T!!!!! I hate that you didn”t get it this round. I was going to post a video clip from Animal House. It is a speech Bluto (John Belushi) gives to inspire his housemates.(But there is some swearing, wasn't sure if Jeff would appreciate that ) Basically, it ain't over till its over. Mourn the exam and then get back up and get a game plan. I know you are hurting, totally understand, but when you are ready, get back up and do it, I know you can.

since they just released a 2nd wave of BEC scores, do you guys think it's because those were the border line scores?

Seems like the scores we've been seeing are borderline, mine was in that batch and I got a 76. The scores being reported on Nasba FB also seem to be ranging from 72-77

@thecpawong – I think that is a definite possibility. I am waiting on my BEC score NTS 457 but I'm not sure the NTS matters since I am in wisconsin. I have clicked refresh so many times today that I have developed a game of making a different goofy face at my screen everytime I hit refresh. My boss just saw me while walking by and looked at me as though I was losing it. I'm not sure I disagree…

    AUD - 7/11/11 - 75
    FAR - 8/30/11 - 76
    BEC - 10/8/11 - 76
    REG - 11/12/11 - 78

Thanks so much guys you make me feel better! I am just so bummed right now and cried in my cube like a baby when I saw it. I just lost my audit credit because of it too. My question for those you that passed FAR… I have FAR scheduled for 11/28 where my audit was (well is now) expiring on 11/30. I am half way through the lectures at this point with Yaeger. Would you keep your test date or move it to January? Katie I think I might I have used Yaeger quite a few times now and have gotten a 68, 70, 74, 71, and a 72 now. I am thinking it is time for something else there.

@rmm91909 – I'm so sorry!!!! I was thinking of you all day and was hoping to hear good news. As for your question about FAR. How comfortable to you feel? If you feel good about it, take it as scheduled. If not, reschedule for early January. That way it gives you another month to study. Then again, how busy is your December? With the holidays and stuff.

Started sitting in May 2002, on and off. But since 2008 I've been nonstop and my scores are....
    AUD - 39, 48, 56, 65, 68, 73, 76!!! (Finally passed in Oct 2011!!!) Becker, NINJA, & Wiley
    REG - 75 (Lost Credit) 72, 68, 73, 75 (Passed again in Aug 2011) Becker, NINJA, & Wiley
    FAR - 65, 68, 75 (Lost Credit) 68, 73, 73, 80 (Passed again in May 2012) Roger, NINJA, & Wiley
    BEC - 65, 68, 71, 72, 72, 71, 76 (Lost Credit)- 70, 76!!!! I AM DONE!!! - Roger, NINJA, & Wiley
After 10 long years of studying, I AM DONE!!!! Finally a Licensed CPA in the State of New York!!

Thanks Jomarie it really is nice to know we all pull for each other even if we don't know each other personally. I really do appreciate all of you who keep me going! Well I haven't touched any of the MCQs yet as I am trying to just hammer out these lectures so I kind of don't know. Maybe I will see how I feel the 5 days before where then it would only be 35 bucks to move it if necessary. I am allowing myself a pity party tonight and then I am hitting the library tomorrow. Keeping my fingers crossed for you!!!

Plus I guess if I take it as scheduled I would find out seven days later (weird!) so I could just keep studying after that pity party break if needed 🙂
