This has been asked, but not answered yet:

If a candidate receives a pre-test SIM, will there scores be released according to this schedule or be pushed back to the end of the testing window?

Good luck to all those studying and fingers crossed for those waiting!

I took my test for FAR early in the window (Oct 4). With the new 3rd quarter statistics already being posted has anyone tried the backdoor trick, where you see if you can reapply for the test? I tried and it will let me reapply…unfortunately this doesn't speak well for my chances.

I truly hope that the Score release goals will be met. I'm not sure I could endure another nearly 2-month wait for my score, especially since I need to seriously focus on REG studies. I'm doing ok so far. but I have a nasty feeling that I'll be going stir-crazy by the end of this week in anticipation of the scores.

    FAR 88 (07/15/11)
    BEC 83 (08/31/11)
    AUD 81 (10/15/11)
    REG 83 (11/26/11)

@ roadhouse – what state are you in? I am in NY, took FAR on Oct. 1st and tried the backdoor…it wouldn't let me register.

Third attempt at FAR…always just a few points away. Of course scores are going to come out the day before I take AUD (Nov 4th). I hope third time is a charm because if not my BEC expires…ughhh.

Sonali, I hope you passed it!!

I'm taking it in few days (2nd time). I'm using Becker and going over all passmaster, and final review MCQs/SIMS. Also doing the final exam and hopefully doing SIMS from Wiley and random quizzes.

Do you think that should be sufficient?

My main concern is Aud tran cycles in A4 of Becker. Was that heavily tested?

Good luck to all of us!!

I don't understand the “backdoor method”. In my state, I have to officially re-apply to take a test, which is a written application and another process before I could do anything. Never had to retake before so. Hopefully not.

    AUD - Passed:)
    FAR - Passed:)
    REG - Retake TBD
BEC - Missed by 3 points Retake TBD

    @yvonne

I think sonali is referring to the “ohio loophole”. During score release time, if your oasis status was updated after they released scores, and you were still waiting on your score, you could go to Ohio's st board website and try to reregister for the exam you were waiting a score on. If you were able to register, it meant you didn't pass.

Basically, I think we put this out of commission this last window. With the new Nasba website, I think most people found the loophole wasn't working anymore. You could search for this thread on the forum, it would give you alot more details…….

the backdoor/loophole still won't work until the AICPA releases the scores to NASBA. The loophole is a NASBA site and so it only speeds up the process by a few hours for most of us.

@kandisjoy, me too. Is it really too much effort to put the h in “that”? But, trying to give benefit of the doubt, perhaps his/her first language isn't english.

    AUD - 88
    FAR - 90
    REG - 85
    BEC - 88

@katie – You're nicer than I am. I don't think that having English as a second language is even a good enough excuse. If Sonali can spell “sufficient,”, he or she can spell “that” and “you.”
